Pawnee From Parks & Rec Getting A Book!
This idea is pretty HIGHlarious, and absolutely we'll be reading it!
The book is called Pawnee: The Greatest Town In America, and it'll be "written" by Leslie Knope — Amy Poehler's character from the show!
It's going to actually be written by the show's scribes, and will be released soon after the primetime Emmy's are handed out!
Here's what co-creator Mike Schur has to say:
"The ever-expanding town of Pawnee has become its own character in our show, and we're thrilled that we got to accelerate that expansion in one giant, goofy 240-page comedy book. It's a complete portrait of Everytown, USA, which every reader — whether a fan of the show or a newbie — can enjoy."
Sounds funny to us! Parks & Rec has really come into its own the past two seasons, and is one of the best comedies on television.
We have no doubt this book will be on-par!
