LAPD Ready To Arrest ANY Paparazzi Who Gets Too Close To William & Kate

Consider yourselves WARNED!

The LAPD, in conjunction with the US State Department, are making the rounds through an upscale El Lay neighborhood to put residents on alert. Prince William and Kate Middleton are coming to town and they'll be attending a swanky Hollywood soiree in the area. Neighborhoods have been advised to look out for photogs and report them to authorities immediately.

The event, hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, will have its fair share of photographers on hand, but its the sneaky, sneak paparazzi that has the State Dept. concerned for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They've announced that they will arrest ANYONE who trespasses on private property to get a pic of the pair.

Sounds like its time to get out the telephoto lens, ladies and gents! This shot is going to be harder than any you've tried to get before! Britney Spears with a new guy? Piece of cake! Lindsay Lohan getting arrested? Child's play! Snooki's cookie? Old news!

It's all about Willy and Katie makin' with the royal cuddling!!!

Way to selectively enforce the law. If it's illegal to stalk William and Kate then it should also be illegal when the paparazzi stalk other celebrities.

  2. 2

Do these two people have any inkling how goofy they look in these getups? I mean, really, you're almost 30 already, grow up.

  3. 3

    You're scary skinny.
Have you lost your period yet?
Not a good condition for conceiving.
Relax a bit and eat a sandwich.

  4. 4

Why do British royalty get this sort of treatment, yet American citizens do not?? Shouldn't this be enforced for everyone? What a terrible message it sends. It's shameful.

  5. 5

that's nice they do this for them but not actual us celebrities..I'm sorry but why are they celebrities again? Born/married into the royal family..which means what being rich? Do they have any gov't/law power? Or are they just the hilton family of england?

  6. 6

Totally stupid that the LAPD are now personal security for non residents

    I love her hat.

Re: KaraLee – To paraphrase a line from Leslie Nielsen's character in Naked Gun "Protecting the Royals' safety is a task that is gladly accepted by Police Squad. No matter how silly the idea of having Royals might be to us, as Americans, we must be gracious and considerate hosts."

Re: Nikkicat85 – Yes, they are born into it. But unlike the Hilton's, they are educated, make a contribution to their country, don't flash their naughty bits getting in and out of cars, and don't get repeatedly busted for drugs or do sex videos for publicity. They are part of an 800 year tradition that is very important to their home country. They do have some class. The Hiltons and Kardashians? Not so much.

Paid with taxpayer's money while massive cuts to education are being enforced. Way to go! Barf

  11. 11

How arrogant can you get? What a waste of our dedicated law enforcement professionals, AND then to ask our citizens to be involved as squealers? Who do they think they are to shove this down our throats? Our country, our laws. How about waiting for an invitation next time, too.

  12. 12

They are just a couple or average people. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ROYALTY IN 2011.

  13. 13

Re: Eldridge Cleaver – How about them being gracious as well. This isn't a good start at all.

    Re: Scatter – Here, here!

  15. 15

Re: rosebud99 – Do a little research, Rosebud. Duchess Do-Little has flashed her panties more than once, her uncle has been held on suspicion (but saved by Prince William) for selling cocaine and prostitution in Ibiza, the Duchess has never held down a job, and spend lavishly at the taxpayers expense. Say what you will, I'm not paying for Kim Kardashian's wedding or anybody else's for that matter.

    Re: Eldridge Cleaver

Go kiss a Republikkkan you moron. Of course you like Royalty being a Republican and all. Stupid ass hat.

  17. 17

Obviously Perez you just hired someone to know the possessive of "its" is, but this person didn't know what "it's" means!!!! You've been doing great for a week after our grammar bashing, but obviously you haven't hired someone that knows what they are really doing!!!!

  18. 18

Re: scoochamenz – This is obviously an event where these hat are to be worn. In other countries that have been around longer than America, they have traditions that seem strange to ignorant people like you. Your statement reflects why so many countries think negatively towards us

  19. 19

Re: Surrender Dorothy – Apparently, you've never seen Naked Gun and didn't read the part about Americans finding royalty silly. I think the royals are fucking stupid. Way to take a joke!

  20. 20

Re: boston61 – It's no suprise the joke flew right over your head, you fucking numbskull liberal.

His mother was killed by the paparazzi. Last week pregnant Tori Spelling was in an accident because of paparazzi. Extra security sounds like a good precaution.

  22. 22

America would be a better place if all the papparazi were killed.

  23. 23

Re: KaraLee – The difference is that they're technically foreign diplomats. That's the legal reason for this treatment. California should man up and do something about the paparazi

  24. 24

Ahh, here it is…. the ascension of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha / Rothschild union …. direct bloodline heir to the magician king solomon of the 1st royal house of ancient israel… coming to claim his kingship in the land of the magic wand, made from the wood of a holly tree.

  25. 25

Demonic Jewry on a sunday afternoon in league with the high papacy and black nobility of the Vatican? Fava Beans anyone?

  26. 26

if brits wanna care about this outdated tradition, good for them. but i can't begin to care and wonder why any americans bother.
i'm sure when obama goes to the uk he is aforded some special security concerns, but he is an actual elected official, not some genetically spawned figureheads. so useless.

  27. 27

His top hat matches that of the top hat of none other than JP Morgan Chase! It fits perfectly given that his grandmother, 'Queen' Elizabeth II Saxe-Coburg-Gotha is the largest class A shareholder of the company and all. This man will inherit JP Morgan Chase one day. The world needs to stop this family once and for all.

  28. 28

Hope they enjoy their stay. Surprise they came over so soon after being married.

Didn't the U.K. pay for the extra policing when Obama was recently there? Tit for tat.

Re: boston61 – Tell that to the 54 countries in The Commonwealth of Nations, which QEII heads along with their meetings. That's 2 Billion people, btw. Look it up, and widen your local-centric world.

  32. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: stickrat – You don't know much about the duties of anyone outside this country, do you. It's easy enough to look up, and the definition of useless is someone who doesn't but says stupid stuff anyway.

  33. 33

Sounds like they don't want a repeat of the Diana incident. You telling the paps to get their 'telelens' is stupid and childish.

  34. 34

I would like to point out that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not some ridiculous fame hungry celebrity couple that many of you Americans idolise but are in fact important English royalty.

When President Obama visited England a few short weeks ago, he was treated with the upmost respect and protected at all costs by our ‘tax-payers’. Why should our future King and Queen not expect the same courtesy?!!

  35. 35

Re: Eldridge Cleaver – Didn't understand. I apologize. Sorry!!!!

  36. 36

Re: Sandy_pink – Well, the difference was that Obama was there for a summit meeting and on legitimate business. The D/D of Do-Nothing aren't, or weren't until HM yanked their chain and a meeting for BAFTA is considered 'important'? That was done a month ago. If you look back, all they wanted to do was party at the Beckhams. Well, at least Kate did. They are NOT as important in diplomatic seriousness as a multi-nation summit not a democratic government such as the US. Sorry. And didn't we already decide that this wasn't a monarchy here? I don't get the fawning and sensationalizing of two people who contribute practically nothing when we have really remarkable people who do and are deserving of our attention. Even the UK press call them parasites. And they are. At least they've stopped the 2B viewer number for the wedding.

  37. 37

Re: dishi – Extra security is always a good idea. But, not on the taxpayers dime. The LAPD has better things to do and is struggling with cutbacks. This is really the height of self-importance.

  38. 38

Don't they have more important things to do like catching real criminals as opposed to a few people wanting pictures? They have their own bodyguards…

  39. 39

Re: Black Swan – Exactly, Black Swan! Super simple. They have an entire security force. This is just throwing their weight around and it's not attractive.

  40. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: Surrender Dorothy – If you were up on the massive financials that the monarchy bring in to Britain, you wouldn't perpetrate such a lazy opinion, smart as you seem to be.

Re: @v@ – No, they don't. There's an article out today how over budget they are. Do you honestly believe that people go to London to see the Queen and the family? No. France makes more money on tourism than England, and last I checked, you pay to visit the castles and there's no need to support a monarchy there anymore. Check your facts first, yourself. I have and the taxpayers pay for their security and a lot more hidden costs such as travel, clothing, cars, you name it.
