Well, if she's gonna turn to anyone, we totally expect it to be the "consciously uncoupling" star!
Because, DUH! Who better to understand Beyoncé's pain than the Goop author?!
Ex-porn star Ginger Lee, one of the women involved in the Anthony Weiner scandal, has spoken out against the congressman and wishes to clear her name!
"I did not sext Anthony Weiner. I did not send photos to him or receive photos from him. Any time he would take conversations in a sexual direction, I would not reciprocate."
Then she revealed that the weiner asked her to LIE about any communication they were having after the scandal broke out, continuing:
“When the scandal broke and people started emailing me, I did not know what to do. So I emailed Anthony Weiner. He asked me to lie about our communication."
In one of the 100 emails he exchanged with her, he asked if she needed "professional PR" advice, then instructed her how to handle the press, explaining:
"The key is to have a short, thought out statement that tackles the top line questions and then refer people back to it. Have a couple of iterations of: 'This is silly. Like so many others, I follow Rep. Weiner on Twitter. I don't know him and have never met him. He briefly followed me and sent me a dm saying thank you for the follow. That's it.'"
Hmm…that sounds FAMILIAR! In fact, it sounds a lot like an interview he had with CNN's Wolf Blitzer on June 1, when he said:
“This has gotten a little bit crazy. I don't know who the woman is. I followed her for a moment. And then someone started Tweeting, oh my goodness, Anthony Weiner is following someone in that industry.”
Clearly, he's not as good at handling PR during a scandal as he is at taking pictures of his junk. We can't say he didn't try though, so we'll give him an "A" for effort. Ha!
As for Mz. Lee's opinion on whether or not the congressman should resign, she concluded:
"I think that Anthony Weiner should resign, because he lied to the public and the press for more than a week."
We're eager to find out whether or not Weiner will listen to his constituents and resign, but one things for sure. If he did, it would be his smartest PR move yet! LOLz!
Do U agree with Ginger Lee and think Anthony Weiner should resign?
