No offense to the old ones, but this is a good idea. There were times this season that we felt episodes were stretched too thin and we think that's because it's creators were the same. This can only mean GREAT things for season 3.
Six new writers have been hired to work on the upcoming season of Glee. Among them are some of the best in the industry. Joining Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Bennan in the writer's room will Allison Adler, who's written for Chuck and No Ordinary Family as a co-executive producer. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who just finished rewriting the book for Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, has been brought on as a co-producer.
Fans of the show will remember Michael Hitchcock from the first season of Glee when he played the choir director for the School for the Deaf. Now, Michael will be a consulting producer on the show, along with the very talents Marti Noxon, of Buffy and Angel fame. Rounding out the room will be staff writers Matt Hodgson and Ross Maxwell.
Sounds like a very good mix! Writers from all ends of the business - comedy, Broadway, drama.
Well done team! We're looking EAGERLY towards next season!
