Obama Believes That Anthony Weiner Will "Bounce Back"

Anything can happen in politics, right??

President Obama is certain that former congressman Anthony Weiner will "bounce back" from his sexting scandal.

Just a day after Weiner resigned, Obama said on GMA:

"I wish Rep. Weiner and his lovely wife well. Obviously, it's been a tough incident for him, but I'm confident that they'll refocus and he'll refocus, and they'll end up being able to bounce back."

Since the scandal broke, many Democrats have been trying to distance themselves from Weiner. Even Obama himself advised that Weiner should quit congress, saying that he "would resign" if he were in his shoes.

This certainly isn't the worst of political scandals we've seen in recent years and we're sure that with a few good PR moves, Obama could be right. We just might see Weiner pop up again in a few years!

LOLz!

the anti-family values party should welcome him back. where else will someone with low morals and values go? and obama once again proves that being President is above his pay-grade. i wish we had an ATM machine to fill his job for the next 16 months.

Yup , good thing it wasn't sexted to another man. Oh the outrage at this homophobic persecution. Hypocrite much fatboy

most dem. hate him because of his TIRADES on the floor of CONGRESS and are probably having a PARTY now that he is GONE!!! Obama, as usual, took days to say anything. He always must wait and wait….okay we have a poll that says Weiner should consider resigning…. so that is what the President says….. FINALLY …AN OVERWHELMING POLL saying Weiner should get out of town and finally Obama says Weiner should definitely resign. He always waits until he sees what the people say before he opens his mouth… As for Weiner, he SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ADVICE AND LISTENED TO THAT! Instead of lying from the start. He might still be in Congress. Weiner is out mainly for the LYING!

Great. Endorsing a liar… way to go prez

  5. 5

WEINER IS A TYPICAL LECHEROUS LOW CLASS JEW. HE IS THE TYPE OF JEW THAT INS[IRED THE NAZIS TO CREATE CONCENTRATION CAMPS

  6. 6

If this guy was a republican good ol barry and perez would be condemning him to hell.

  7. 7

He should lay low and work some menial job for the sake of his unborn child. He will never live this down in this media frenzy day and age. He will forever be known as "former congressional representative from New York who tweeted his meat and lost his seat".

  8. 8

Is that "bounce back" just like he said the economy would bounce back?

  9. 9

he should join the republican party because apparently you can have a sex scandal and not resign. can anyone say david vitter. hell you can even cheat on your wife like newt gingrich or rudy giuliani and still run for president. all good christians and family values advocates.

"Obviously, it's been a tough incident for him…" Seriously Obama? ya its really been tough on the WEINER. his pregnant wife has just been floating through this unscathed and totally happy!! you dumba**. Obama should just go back into the whitehouse, have another beer, and shut up. this has NOT been hard for the cheating douche. he is only sorry because he got caught. his poor wife and unborn child are the ones who really suffer. hopefully she leaves him. who the hell wants the last name weiner anyways?? lol

Re: AttFinch – Really. Ever heard of the democrat Bill Clinton? Nice argument. He WAS PRESIDENT not just running for it.

    Re: nicky45

While Newt was leading the charge to impeach Clinton ($40,000,000 of taxpayer money) for lying about adultery…Newt himself was having an affair.

You don't think that's sufficient baggage?

note- this was reported by Fox News, and confirmed by Gingrich-

WASHINGTON — Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was having an extramarital affair even as he led the charge against President Clinton over the Monica Lewinsky affair, he acknowledged in an interview with a conservative Christian group.

"The honest answer is yes," Gingrich, a potential 2008 Republican presidential candidate, said in an interview with Focus on the Family founder James Dobson…

so….an adulterer married three times will champion the republican party?

Re: AttFinch – No he absolutely will not. See republicans actually will disagree with one of their own. Dems blindly follow each others agenda. Example when is the last time perez or any dem disagreed with another dem. Answer never. That is what seperates the parties.

  14. 14

Re: nicky45 – just to let you know i am not a democrat. what really separates the parties the most is the republicans are for tax loopholes for corporations and tax cuts for the wealthy and some democrats try to help the middle class and the poor. as for perez never saying anything against democrats i have seen him numerous times call out obama for not being more progressive towards same sex marriage and he just recently slammed wiener over and over for his so called sex scandal.

  15. 15

He should just let is obsession run wild….texting nude pictures of his scrawny, ugly body and face across the internet….if this excites him, he should continue…this is his passion and contribution to society….what's wrong with that? ….He should never have stepped down. He is the face of the democratic party. He was sent to Washington to represent the people…and in his free time, he was lewd, so what?

  16. 16

Re: buck – anti-family values party? the democrats? sure. and the republican party, working for the corporations in order to deregulate the banking system, steal almost one trillion dollars from the families in order to give to the fucking financial corporations, and now " families" need to borrow money at a 25% interest… and you call the democrats anti-family? i don't if i should call you a hypocritical, blind or plain fucking moron!

  17. 17

"hell bounce back " on his blue balls …..
