Jake Gone WIld

Jake Gyllenhaal has become quite the manly man recently!

Since starring in the adventure film Prince of Persia, Jake has not only buffed up his bod, but has buffed up his sense of adventure!

The actor is making his Discovery Channel debut on an episode of Man Vs. Wild, airing on July 11th, which kicks off 6 new episodes of the hit show.

Jake will join Bear Grylls for two days to face off against mother nature in one her harshest climates on the planet — Iceland!

Following in the footsteps of Will Ferrell, who guest starred on the show in 2009, Jake says his motivation to appear on the show was, "all about discovery."

Will U be watching Jake discover his survival skills as he takes on the wild this July?

Perez, your sarcastic "quite the manly man recently" is ricidulous. You are constantly showing how uniformed you are and out of touch and you're supposed to be the big gossip queen. Jake's been buff since he made Jarhead, more than six years ago. He's been working out, running, climbing and cycling for years. He was buffin "Brothers" the movie he made with Tobey Maguire when Jake played an Ex-con. I also remember when Jake went to the North Pole with Salma Hayek years ago for the environment, so this thing with Bear Grylls isn't a surprise. It's just news to you. Clueless.
