Many of you might not remember, but Nelly Furtado and Timbaland had been locked in a legal battle with Kernal Records over a copyright dispute for their song Do It.
Well, the good news for them is that the $20 million dollar lawsuit has been thrown out by the judge, and everybody but the Finnish record label is happy!
Here's what Timba's rep had to say:
"We're very happy. We thought from the beginning that this issue was an important one and followed the plain language of the federal Copyright Act."
We're glad to hear everything worked out, and we suppose that means that drinks are on you guys tonight!
