Would DanRad Ever Do Another Harry Potter Movie???

daniel radcliffe talks future of potter movies

SPOILER ALERT: For those of you who haven't read the final book, there is SOME talk about the future of Harry Potter (below).

With the final Potter movie coming out in mere weeks, Daniel Radcliffe has opened up about his future plans for Harry, and it looks like he's ready to say goodbye to the character after this final movie.

Here's DanRad on whether or not he'd like to return to the franchise if they decide to make another Potter movie:

"Not particularly. I think that would be a bit odd. I’d be very skeptical about that. First of all, I don’t think that [Rowling] will [write another Potter installment] and second of all, oh, I don’t know, the idea of going back to something after 10 or 20 years? At that point, I will have worked 20 years to establish a career outside of it, and at that point to go back to it would feel a little self-defeating."

"I could feel completely different at that time, but at this moment, it feels like it would be strange and not the way it would or should go."

As much as we LOVE DanRad as Harry, we'd have to agree that it's probs time for him to move on! He had a fantastic run with the Potter series, but he's a very talented actor and we def support his decision to grow and pursue different roles.

What do U think? Would U like to see DanRad return to the big screen with more Potter movies?

I agree with him, but he is a LITTLE bit of a bobo for not thinking outside the box that a possible movie could take place between the ending of the final book and the epilogue. Who says there's not a story to tell before it shows them when they're older?

First time I've ever seen him look his age. Good for you Dan.

Um no.because, like I said before,Daniel's too grown up and mature for that.and it's about time,I saw him do other movies, besides Harry Potter.and that "The Woman In Black"movie looks pretty cool.and I've seen the trailer.Daniel looks pretty sexy in ghost hunting clothes or whatever!

Daniel Radcliffe is really, really weird.

It's called "doing it for the fans"… you know the ones who made you famous because of the role — because they loved the character. You know, giving back?

I think he should stop letting that man touch his face.

I don't blame him for saying this-right now. I mean, he's a wonderful actor and he has a brilliant career ahead of him, and he doesn't only want to be defined as "Harry Potter". He's doing so well on stage, I'd love to see him be a Broadway actor, but they really aren't that famous, but he's said that he doesn't want to be as famous as Leo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt, so it sounds like the perfect medium. If JK Rowling does perhaps write another book about Harry, Ron, Hermione getting older, getting married, having children-I would kill to read or watch something like that. I'm sure that down the line, if JK Rowling does write something like that, he'd want to do it. Hopefully his fans will coax him into doing it.

how many times does he need to say it for everyobody to understand harry potter is his past, no more harry potter for him people, stop bothering him with the same question, get over it

Re: Average Jane – he doesn't need to give anything back, he gave us 10 years of his life stuck in the same movie set, he doesn't have to do anything more for us, we are lucky that he's still working in other stuff

As much as I would love just see more and more and more… You can't top this work they have done so it's no point in trying, it will just be a fail (to me). If you want to end something you do it when you are on the top.
Even if he had stayed in this age forever I don't want anyone Potter even if I'm a really big fan (read each book about 15 times, except the last which I have read 6 times) I think it would be to much if you continue on with it, it wouldn't be as good sense (everyone who read the books knows) you know what. It would be as exiting.
