Republican Senator John McGee Bonds Out Of Jail Following DUI/Grand Theft Auto Charges!

Forget Anthony Weiner! Why isn't the media more interested in covering THIS GUY???

On Sunday, republican Idaho Senator John McGee was arrested after being found passed out drunk in a stolen car. He was charged with both DUI and Grand Theft Auto…and then released on a $5,000 bond.

McGee's colleagues seem to be continuing to support the man because his behavior was "erratic" and "abnormal," and apparently the major media outlets support him too because there's been barely ANY coverage on this!

He's scheduled to appear in court on July 1. Maybe the media will start paying attention after he gets sentenced for his charges.

In the meanwhile, we're SURE the entire world will lose their shiz if another girl comes forward and admits to exchanging dirty messages with Anthony Weiner. Truly sad.

What do U think about Senator John McGee? Should the media give him more attention?

i guarantee the republican party will handle it swiftly and smoothly ( unlike the anti-family party ) if the story is true..especially if he lies about it

  2. 2

He's a State Senator, not a U.S. Senator. It gets major air play in Idaho. I'm sure the major news outlets will pick it up now, we know how they hate Republicans period.

  3. 3

Maybe they want the facts before they ruin the mans life? Why not?

Charles B. Rangel (D-NY) Rangel was found guilty on 11 charges by the House Ethics Committee.[5][6][7][8] On December 2, 2010, the full House of Representatives voted 333-79 to censure Rangel.(2010)[9] I don't recall seeing much in the news about this. Why?

Two days after Obama's election victory, Emanuel was announced as Obama's designee for White House Chief of Staff.[5] He resigned from the House on January 2, 2009,[6] and began his duties as Chief of Staff on January 20, 2009, the day of Obama's inauguration.[5]
Emanuel resigned as Chief of Staff effective October 1, 2010, in order to pursue a campaign to run for Mayor of Chicago pending the announced retirement of six term incumbent Richard M. Daley. On January 27, 2011, the Illinois Supreme Court reversed a lower court's ruling[7] that had cast doubt on Emanuel's candidacy; the court unanimously held that Emanuel did not abandon his Chicago residency by serving in the White House, thus affirming his eligibility to run for mayor.[8] He won the Mayoral election on February 22, 2011, with 55% of the vote.[9] President Obama appointed William M. Daley, the brother of Emanuel's predecessor as mayor, as Chief of Staff to replace Emanuel.

He's kind of cute…PECKER FACE= HUGE COCK! I'd ride it.

Congressman Joe Sestak said in a television news show that the White House offered him a top federal job in an effort to keep him from challenging Senator Arlen Specter in the state's Democratic primary. A five-term incumbent, Specter switched from Republican to Democrat last spring after giving Obama the critical vote for his disastrous and fraud-infested $787 billion stimulus program.

Enter the Chicago political friends and family of ShoreBank. The ties are long and deep, as the Central Illinois 9/12 Project has been chronicling for months:

    • ShoreBank co-founder Jan Piercy was a Wellesley College roommate of Hillary Clinton’s, who has long supported the bank along with former president Bill Clinton.

    • Former ShoreBank Vice Chairman Bob Nash worked for Mrs. Clinton’s presidential bid as deputy campaign manager. Board of Directors member Howard Stanback is a Hyde Park neighborhood pal of Obama, who served with Stanback on the board of the radical Woods Fund (where Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers also sat).

    • White House senior advisor Valerie Jarrett served on the board of Chicago Metropolis 2020 with ShoreBank Director Adele Simmons, former president of the liberal MacArthur Foundation, where she focused on "climate change" and "global governance" issues.

    • The bank and its employees donated some $12,000 to the Obama 2008 presidential campaign, and co-founder Mary Houghton reportedly gave advice to Obama’s late mother about small business lending issues.

Perez, you're an idiot when it comes to politics. Just stay out of it, please.

  11. 11

    Re: poodlewithamohawk – good point.

Re: the difference between this and Weiner is 1) state senator and 2) he didn't go on national TV and LIE about what he did. The proof is in the mugshot.

  12. 12

well, unlike a democrat, he will not have the decency to face the media and say "i am sorry, i lied" and THINK about resigning. he will be out of media attention faster than sarah palin can say "pit bull."
and btw, a DUI is 10x worse than cheating, in a dui you are affecting a stranger's life with your own stupidity. Most women can tell which men have wondering eyes, and hey, she married him, but running over a random pedestrian, drunk, is gross.

I wish this would get as much attention as Weiner…but Fox News won't say a peep about it, so the news won't break far.

  13. 13

The national media isn't paying attention because John McGee is a STATE senator in the Idaho Legislature. He's no Larry Craig.

  14. 14

STATE SENATOR - NOT a US Senator.

  15. 15

TruthSquad you said it best. Republican’s have become hated because of our traditional values. Democrats, although sucking up to every untraditional sector in life, sit around feeding on our tax dollars. They wave a hand to the side and say, “Look we support the gay and lesbian communities.” While on the other side they are scheming with the Public (pubic) employee unions, stealing our money! The democrats say, “Come over the boarder. Yes, if you drop a seed, you too can receive free monies.” Meanwhile, they are all taking our tax dollars, living lavishly, trashing what made this country great. Anyone know about Outpost Harry. World War I or II mean anything? Church (although I’m not religious), service, tradition….. IT’S WHAT MADE THIS COUNTRY GREAT. People are blind by instant gratification. BTW Perez, I preferred when you were a bully!

  16. 16

No one covered this guy because no one knows who the hell he is. Weiners was a well known political figure before his scandal. Plus, sex scandals are way more interesting than DUIs. As a gossip blogger how could you of all people not get that?

  17. 17

    Re: buck

You hate America. All conservative right-wing lunatics like you do.

  18. 18

He is only a state senator, so the national media is not going to give it much coverage. Now if he had been found with a naked underage person…

  19. 19

I live in Idaho, so to me, this story is hilarious. Even better though, he is the Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee and the Treasure Valley Transportation Task Force. Oh, and the Chairman of the Regional Substance Abuse Authority Legislative Committee. Ooooooh the douchey irony.

  20. 20

Gotta love when left wing lunatic perez comments on politics. All this guy has to do is say he supports gay marriage and perez will be on his jock instantly.

  21. 21

Re: poodlewithamohawk – and what about maxine walters they havent got to her yet shes to busy yelling racist the piece of shit that she is

  22. 22

Instead of misleading with the pithy bits, you need to read up on it. Your version leaves out some rather important details.

  23. 23

He is a STATE senator, you moron. There is a HUGE difference. (he's lame, no doubt) A state senator is NOTHING compared to a US congressman. Perez….stay out of politics. My 16 year old son can do a much better job than you on matters of political nature. Your are so sophomoric.

  24. 24

Re: XraySpex – You certainly got it backwards!

  25. 25

    obviously perez doesn't know/understand th diiference between a state v u.s. senator.
i like all the conservatives that gert on here and argue their dorky points of view (like the abgry guy who doesn't even know ow to spell "border") perez's site is very liberal, but all you glen beck lovers hang out here. seems odd to me. i don't ever go on the fox news site.

  26. 26

sounds like Ted Kennedy all over again ….really are you sure teddy is dead?? might want to check…oh wait it couldnt be.. because McGee didnt have a prostitute with him

  27. 27

Because he's a state senator, moron!

  28. 28

What do you think of STATE Senator John McGee? He is an idiot that should immediately resign. I will assume innocence until proven guilty, but once that happens he should go to jail. Should the media pay more attention? Your Anthony Weiner comments are way off base. Weiner outright lied, which I guess is what politicians do, but to do so as egregiously and sensationally as he did (especially as a US Congressman) is outrageous and good news fodder.

  29. 29

Re: stickrat – And you who can't spell "get"? Ye who lives in glass houses…

  30. 30

Hey Tons of Fun, you are a ri-tard. States also have governments and they have Senators who serve within the state. This is the deal here. The only people who care about this are from the state of Idaho.

  31. 31

You're a hypocrite Perez, and a big one at that.

  32. 32

    why?? because SEX SELLS!!!!!

  33. 33

Re: ithinkpigsarecool – Who in the hell compares DUI's and cheating?! That's very odd, to say the least. You can't necessarily say that one is "worse" than the other. And I don't just mean because of specific circumstances, I mean because they're not even comparitable.

  34. 34

I'll give you one word to sum up why the sex scandal is bigger than the DUI: WEINER! That guy might not even get half of the publicity if it wasn't for his last name.

  35. 35

Now this guy is living it!

  36. 36

Re: poodlewithamohawk – your points may be taken seriously if you did not copy and paste your posts from wikipedia and right wing web sites. next time don't forget to use proper quotation and cite your sources. tsk tsk.

  37. 37

Re: Not my gumdrop buttons! – OMG a politician lying? who ever heard of such a thing.

  38. 38

Aww, are the liberals bitter about one of their own being humiliated? Ha! Perez is trying to turn the media's attention back onto the conservatives as per usual. Not buying into it!

  39. 39

Re: MissJosette – Proper Citation? This is a gossip blog, not a research paper in a political science course.

  40. 40

Re: buck – You mean like they did Ensign and Vitter? "Anti-family party" - you are a complete dick, dude.

Maybe he did this, but doesn't it also strike anyone as odd that a state senator is found passed out in a stolen car? Career ender. Why?
