Deplorable! Female Law Student Makes Up Rape Story After Dropping Out Of School

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooTacky & TrueBusted!Sad Sad

Truly sickening.

After failing her exams, getting into debt, and dropping out of college, 19-year-old female law student Aisha Mather made up a story that she was raped so she wouldn't have to tell her parents the REAL reason why she was returning home.

To ensure that her lie seemed real, she "ripped her own tights" and "wrecked her flat." She claimed she'd been dragged into her apartment by her hair, and was "brutally attacked by a tattooed stranger who followed her home." She EVEN claimed that there was a semen stain left on her tights.

As a result of her extensive lie, an innocent man was arrested and detained for over a day, AND three other men were questioned by police.

Once it became clear that her story was untrue, she admitted everything, and yesterday she was sentenced to two years in jail.

Rape is a serious issue and NOT something to be taken lightly. We find it very disturbing that she would make up such an elaborate, awful story instead of facing the truth, and we only hope she'll learn her lesson during her time behind bars.

What do U think about all of this?

I assume that she is ghetto black.

every time a woman like this lies about rape, the women who are actually raped become more hesistant to come forward for fear that everyone may think they too are lying
    .
so instead of only immediately going after the rapist - the police have to also consider the possibiity that the woman may be lying - that is tragic - when a woman reports a rape, it's got to be difficult enough to recount the incident, without feeling they are looking at her in her most vulnerable state and possibly doubthing her
    .
this woman has done a disservice to all women and if she reported her allegations to police I hope that she is charged!

Re: netgear – I just reported you for that comment so let's hope you get banned. There is no need to be racist about it…. you have no idea who she is. And I must of missed the statistics that say African-American law students are more likely to make up rape stories to their parents instead of telling them the truth? It must suck to be that cynical and narrow-minded. I'm sure you thought you were funny when you said it to, but it just came off desperate and pathetic.

Now about the story….. I do believe what this girl did was completely wrong. It is one thing to make up this story, but once you start implicating kids and having them get arrested for it, then you deserve jail time. I do think that 2 years is a bit heavy for something like this because I think she has learned her lesson, and even 6 months would have done the trick. The reason I say that is because I'm sure her parents were the very strict type who would want to disown her if she did drop out for no reason. I think this is a lie that she didn't know how to stop, and it spiraled way out of control, but I'm not gonna completely condemn her because I don't know her full family situation.

I'm guessing this is the UK, as this is typical of a once great country whose standards are now in the toilet and a government and people willing to put up with this crap. Very little thats British about Britain anymore.

  6. 6

    This sentence is unduly harsh.
This is how the justice system treats non-whites. But runaway brides and other liars who are white don't even face arrest.
    Disgusting.

  7. 7

wha!? two years in jail for this????? in my country this 19 year old girl could have killed somoene and still not gotten 2 years jailtime… wth

  8. 8

women pull this bullshit all the time, it's nothing new and not shocking in the very least.

  9. 9

I know the UK has a different educational structure, but most 19 year olds are far too immature to be studying law. As for this particular student, the word "psycho" seems appropriate.

I would like to know the way her parents are for her having to do such an inmense lie instead saying the truth to them. Would have they beaten her that badly or something?.

Too bad. She would have made a GREAT liar - I mean lawyer!!!
She's probably just another obnoxious person who walks around full of arrogance, and always doing whatever dirty thing it takes to get her way….but underneath that shell of a supposed important person, she iS AN IDIOT.
oh, how the tides can change on anybody! ha! check yourself!

  12. 12

Stop with "READ THE REST OF THIS ENTRY"

  13. 13

It is annoying that this woman lied but really reporting this is unfair because you are not reporting the fact that man often lie about raping women.
    For example:
"Only about 6% of rapists ever serve a day in prison"
"If rape is ever reported, there is only a 50.8% chance of an arrest. If that arrest is made, there is an 80% chance of prosecution which still only has a 58% chance of a conviction. If there is a felony conviction, there is about a 69% chance the convict will spend time in jail. So even if the 39% of assaults are reported, there is only a 16.3% chance the rapist will end up serving prison time. So that means 15 out of 16 rapist will walk free without ever serving time for their heinous act."
Why not report some more balanced and more honest home truths next time.

  14. 14

Only 2 years? I think she should have been convicted and sentenced as if she had raped someone! Hell, send her into a male jail for a day too… Women do this shit all the time.

  15. 15

Re: caroaber – Yeah because accusing someone innocent of rape isn't serious at all…
It's actually pretty insulting to real rape victims too who fight to get their cases heard in court only to have their attacker walk free.
Re: netgear – A pretty poor attempt at trolling.

  16. 16

yeah.. she isn't going home… shes going to jail.

  17. 17

Um, at 19 you're a college student. Maybe an aspiring law student. But not a law student. Unless you graduated high school 4 years early and started college early.

I AM DISGUSTED!! YOU ARE WHATS WRONG W/ THE WORLD TODAY. I HOPE THEY BEAT YOUR A$$ IN PRISON. I AM ASHAMED TO BE FROM THE SAME SEX AS YOU

  19. 19

How do these women think it's okay to cry rape and falsely accuse people!? It's bad for real rape victims and for the people accused. Once you get arrested for something like that, even with charges dropped, the person always ends up having to explain how it wasn't true. It sucks that many get off or get lighter sentences for more violent crimes. That doesn't change the fact that she committed a crime and deserves to pay for it.

hoes gonna be hoes so I couldn't blame tammy.. LOL

Okay I was raped when I was 16 by a 25yr old herion addict who put ruffies in my drink at a friends party…he was a friend of my best friends boyfriend. I woke up the next morning having no idea what happend, then recieved a phone call by HIM asking me if i had fun the night before..I said wft happend i dont remember anything. His response "We had sex!" I hung up cried hysterically and ran to the hospital. After tests they found the ruffies in my system. I did not go to the police becuase i was told I had up to 6 months to file. I wanted it all to go away, it didnt. He called my house telling me he knew my mom was a stay at home mom and if I went to the cops he would have her killed by a junkie. At 16 I was dealing with this. The threats never stopped, which lead me to dropping out of school becuase of all the Sh1t people would say. After 2 months of threats I went to the police, and was told by the police that this was going to be very hard because when we go to trail they will tear me apart saying I wanted it or I was lying, and they would ask if I was a virgin in front of everybody. After a year in and out of court, he plend guilty and got 5 yrs in prison. I take stories like this very personal because it happend to me, and bi*tches like this are the reason why its hard to come out with this. I think she deserves more than 2 years in jail, not a harsh punishment at all! I think about what happned to me EVERYDAY, but it made me the extremely strong person I am today.

  23. 23

How could she be a NINETEEN year old law student? Your average undergrad is aged 18-21 and you need an undergrad degree before admittance to law school. Was she a genius who was on track and lost her way in law school? Fishy.

  24. 24

Re: Truth_Is_A-Virus – the only thing that makes me doubt that this is UK is that she received 2 years in prison, when usually even rapists only get about 4

Ok.. So, making up a story about getting raped is not cool.. But.. 2 years? Really? That's a little harsh.. Yet, somehow lindsay lohan steals a huge expensive piece of jewelery and gets to chill out at her mansion, with her friends and party it up.. The justice system is fucked up isn't it?

  26. 26

She should go to jail. She should have to pay for all the man hours wasted chasing after her "attacker". too. I hope the man who spent the day in jail sues this stupid bitch for slander and pain and suffering. Women who are really raped have a hard enough time as it is without stupid bitches like this making stuff up. This is a real slap in the face to all the women who have been raped.

so, this annoys me, but what annoys me most is that the people who are commenting seem to be blaming it on Britain's Society? Just because i'm from the UK does NOT mean i'm more likely to act like that! 'British people are the worst.' - yeah cause ALL british people have obviously done this… think about what you're implying before you post…

  28. 28

Re: caroaber – not unduly harsh if you think about the 24hr police monitoring of her road, police camped outside her door, multiple door to door interviews and people were questioned, some held overnight.
Her stupid allegation put fear into thousands of students all because she was embarrassed that she failed uni.

Re: AprilB – UK education system so she was a law student as people typically start university at 18

Re: Silverback330ci – wow, what a story. 16 is so young to be going through something that adults would have a hard time dealing with. im hoping your coping ok with it now.
