I saw David Guetta perform IN Ibiza in 2008 before he totally sold out, and back when he was a true EDM DJ working on cutting edge house sounds. Seriously, stuff like this is so watered down, electro-hip-pop, made-for-the masses noise it's truly sad. A lot of DJ's have followed suit in similiar fashion (e.g. Tiesto), but I'll never forget the original, and will never be a fan of the new.

"I listened to this song/David Guetta/Ludacris/any other random artist who is now famous before he/it was popular" - who gives a fuck? Do you want a medal? Why do people feel the need to always be the first to discover/approve of something? Do you think it makes you to superior to anyone else who happened to listen to the song/artist AFTER you so supremely discovered it first? And so you don't like the song or artist now that they've "sold out" - it's the evolution of music, get over it. How many artists actually get into the business with the intention of just being mediocre and undiscovered? A few I'm sure - but certainly not many. If they didn't want to be famous they wouldn't have worked toward getting there -they either would have stayed under the radar or quit altogether. So quit bashing the artists you supposedly love and give them credit and respect for their achievements. Maybe it's no longer your taste, but I have an inkling that your distaste comes not from a change to the tune or style of the music, but the fact that an artist or song that was once lesser known is no longer "yours" and because a greater portion of the population now has discovered them.
