Such a deal!

Since 1973, the Grammy Awards has been proudly broadcasted on CBS and now, the network has inked a 10-year to tell the music awards on their channel through 2021.

The deal also includes the annual Grammy Nominations Concert Live, which this year will air on November 30th and a new two-hour special with details TBA. Neil Portnow, President and CEO of The Recording Academy, made the official announcement this afternoon, saying:

"We are so pleased to continue our longstanding partnership with our friends at CBS, which has grown beyond our signature Awards event. We have consistently collaborated to ensure that a dynamic, fresh and diverse live telecast is presented, and we are proud of the collective growth and results we have achieved. In recent years, we have worked diligently to develop new Grammy programming that celebrates music throughout the year and now, with many more nights of great music and television ahead of us, we look forward to continuing to expand our brand and partnership."

Outstanding! One thing we really value is loyalty and we're happy to hear that unlike some other awards shows, the Grammys has been able to maintain a fair and lucrative partnership between the Academy and the networks.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast Feb. 12, 2012 live from the Staples Center in El Lay! Who do U hope is nominated this year???
