Looks like there's
some a lot of question as to whether or not the US version of Ok! Magazine is actually gonna be O-K.
Ever since an American edition of OK! was brought to the US in 2005, the company has lost $218.3 million! AND based on recent financial results from their parent company Northern & Shell, it looks like the mag was losing nearly $500,000 a week in the most recent fiscal year. Yikes!
Time Warner had expressed interest in acquiring the American version of the magazine, but now it seems like they're not feeling it anymore.
Here's what a source had to say about Time Warner's loss of interest in the mag:
"They approached a bunch of people who they thought would be interested, but it is doubtful we would do anything. It would have to fit and it would have to make money."
Bummer. Sounds like US Ok! Magazine has got their work cut out for them if they're going to stay alive on any level.
