It's Over! Winklevoss Twins Finally Drop Facebook Lawsuit!
Good! As we said last month, it's time for them to move on.
To recap….as we saw in The Social Network, the Winklevoss twins sued Mark Zuckerberg for turning their failed ConnectU project into Facebook.
THEN the twins Winklevii were being sued by Wayne Chang, who was also involved with ConnectU. He claimed that he was elbowed out of the $65 million settlement between the Winklevoss twins and Facebook.
AND THEN the twins re-ignited their lawsuit with Facebook, and tried to bring the suit to the Supreme Court, in an effort to get the settlement invalidated.
Now, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss have decided to let it go and keep their settlement.
Here's what Facebook said in response:
"We’ve considered this case closed for a long time, and we’re pleased to see the other party now agrees."
Not the NICEST response that Zuckerberg and co. could have come up with, but ah well! We're just glad to hear that this is all over now.
Are U pleased to hear that this lawsuit is done? Or do U think the Winklevoss Twins deserve more money from Facebook?
