Japanese Pop Idol, Aimi Eguchi, Isn't Human!
Technology's cra-cra!
She was the latest addition to Japanese girl group, AKB48.
The pop group has millions of superfans, who vote each year on which of the group's 61 members is the most popular, with the winner announced in an internationally televised awards ceremony.
But fans were totally confused Aimi Eguchi (the new unpopular girl, gross) appeared in a candy commercial right after joining the group.
That's when fans started to suggest something extraordinary: What if Eguchi didn't exist at all?
Well, it turns out they were right - Eguchi is NOT a person. She's a digital composite combining the physical characteristics of six other members' faces. Yeah… THAT'S INSANE.
This "girl" had fans and everything. We are super creeped out.

LOL so. Stop the robot invasion.
Reminds me of the movie SIMONE, never thought it was possible.
Too bad japan didn't spend all this time and technology protecting its people instead of inventing dumb robots and computer programs.

At least they are being honest about their pop stars.. Almost all our "pop artists" are created in a recording studio, we just use some easy on the eyes person to pretend..
