Somehow, some wires got SERIOUSLY crossed!
Yesterday, Justin Bieber started quite a commotion in midtown launching his new fragrance in Herald Square NYC. When he stepped outside to sign autographs for the hundreds of waiting fans, the crowd instantaneously became unruly. A man was spotted rushing out of the crowd towards Justin, so Justin's security team stepped in to apprehend him. Justin even took a few swings at the guy himself in defense!
But it turns out, the man in plainclothes was actually a man in blue. Yes, he was a cop! The undercover NYPD officer was attempting to save the singer from getting trampled by the crowd that was also making a move for Justin. The cop quickly identified himself and then cited one of Justin's security team members for disorderly conduct. Oh yeah, their in big trouble right now! Apparently, his team deviated from the original planned, safe route outside Macy's which is why the police were unprepared to effectively protect Biebs from the crowds.
Not good, people! Their can't be any miscommunication where the Bieb's safety is concerned! Hopefully, everyone on his team has learned a valuable lesson and this will never happen again!
In case you missed it, watch the scuffle go down in the video (above).
