Charlie Sheen Harper Will Die

| Filed under: TV NewsCharlie Sheen

Chuck Lorre is making sure of that!

Since Charlie Sheen was booted from Two & A Half Men, everyone has been waiting with breathless anticipation to see how the writing team will write him out of the show. Would he just disappear? Would he leave a note? What will happen to the house? Where will all his Hawaiian shirts be taken to?

So many questions to answer, but we've only got one answer for you now - they're killing him off! R.I.P Charlie Harper!

So far, several scenarios are being kicked around. One idea is to have Charlie drive his car over a cliff. Hmm. Can you say, Mulholland Drive???

The manner of his death is still TBD, but it sounds like Chuck has already decided how he wants Ashton Kutcher to enter the picture. Supposedly, there's been talk that Ashton will buy Charlie's house after he perishes in his fiery car crash.

So, do Jon Cryer and the kid come with the house as a closing bonus or….

We assumed that this was the way Charlie would go, and yet it is still bittersweet. You know what would really fill the void? Another episode of Charlie's Kitchen!!! Where's that at?!?!

Sounds pretty awful. They should just go ahead and cancel and not tarnish a good show this way.

Hope they make it a horrible death for an awful character.

  4. 4

Hope the keep all of the rest of the cast !!! Hope they don't keep making Alan out to be such a cheapskate and unlikeable. Heard that was Sheen's doing anyway because he was jealous of Jon Cryer.

So when they kill Charlie, will Ebert guest star and say something stupid?

  7. 7

chuck lorre.. the most hated director in hollywood. Here's your douchbage of the year away!

  8. 8

alan has turned into the charlie character.. so GAG

I assumed Charlie would marry Rose and move in with her — maybe move to Europe. I see no need to kill him off.

STFU Perez, Lorre is no better than Charlie, in fact he is worse. He is a major dick taking personal issues out through a TV show. Seriously, how old mentally are people in Hollywood?

Good. If theyre going to continue, its best to do it with a fresh start. Hopefully without Sheen, they can concentrate more on Cryer, Holland Taylor, etc.

With All of the idiocy and crazy antics aside, Charlie actually did a great job on the show. It was Charlie Sheen playing himself, that was the whole thing. I can't see it being the same with Ashton Kutcher. It just seems like his movie career was a flop and they just happened to need a high profile replacement. I can't see this going well, Although I am curious to see what they'll do with his character I'll probably watch for the first little while.

    Re: Team Kim Richards
I could live a million years and not understand why you would take the time to come to someone's blog, create a profile, sign in, just so you can write comments like that. It's people like you that are writing his paychecks.

i haven't found one person i know yet that will watch this show without Charlie. way to FAIL Lorre!

  15. 15

So the lead character of a COMEDY dies in a fiery crash?

  16. 16

I really hope this show fails now.

  17. 17

Kind of harsh. I hope the kid stays on the show as well as the rest of the cast.

  18. 18

I wish CBS would just end this show and not bother with trying to carry on with that dork AplusK.

i was thinking of watching ashton and his stupid tonsils each time he laughs but if they go stupid and murder charlie off the show i think they can take their demented money making crap elsewhere charlie has amazing comedy ability timing and a snappy personality that comes thru ashton as much as i love him is goofy humor not the sharp wit of charlie stuff them and stuff the show !!

Classic! Once I worked for the producers of a daytime soap and they told me they only killed a character when the actor was absolutely impossible to work with.

  21. 21

So who is gonna be the half man this time round? The kid is about 25 now isn't he? I really don't see how the dynamic is going to work between Kutcher, and the remaining two, it sort of felt like the natural time for the show to end when all this crap with sheen kicked off. If they wanted to carry it on they should have done so with a complete new cast/location etc… hey it's gonna bomb withough sheen anyway, why not take a chance while you're at it.

  22. 22

Re: Geat real – I agree. Lorre won, Sheen won't be back, no need to "spike the football," by having his character killed off.

  23. 23

thats a kinda morbid for a sitcom… he doesn't need to bring personal feelings into a TV character when it comes to writing it off.

  24. 24

If anyone else is a big fan like me than they would know that Alan and Jake get everything if Charlie dies. So i'm assuming if Ashton is coming in than maybe Alan needed a roommate after Charlie's death.

  25. 25

i thought he would die of STDs

CS can get kidnapped by South American guerrillas while in a country doing research for writing a English language Spanish inspired soap opera. CJ, kid and Grandma find out CS character had sold the house to AK-a writer/producer friend and he can let them stay until the matter is resolved. Some of the humor could revolve around AK telling JC and young adult son their lease is running out…Occasionally a visual sight gag could have them watching a flickering very over-acted, overly romantic excerpts (sound only). Have comedic guest appearances by Eric Estrada as bumbling State Department representative giving the new cast updates on attempts to rescue CS.
It could work without having to kill anyone (fictitiously)…

  27. 27

Honestly, I don't think they should kill Charlie off.. Like maybe in the future if things with Charlie and Chuck are resolved and if Charlie's doing better he can make an appearance on the show.. That would defo get ratings up. DON'T KILL CHARLIE OFF. I've a mega feeling that it would be a MEGA Mistake!

I am just glad that they didn't give up on the show and that all the other actors, staff, writers, etc. kept their jobs a bit longer. If ppl keep an open mind when it airs in fall and judge the show not on what has happened but the new show then it may have a chance. It wasn't called the Charlie Harper show so maybe if we all give it a chance it may surprise us all. I am looking forward to it. I hope it works.

Ashton Kutcher's character buying the house and keeping the tenants is a DUMB premise. It would make more sense if Charlie lost the house in a poker game to Ashton's character or something with the proviso that he has to take care of his brother and nephew just to screw him over for losing in the game. Who writes this shit?

  30. 30

they should have wrote Kutchers character in as a long lost hidden love child ( arnie style), then he could have inherited the house…. and the house guests with it…. would have been a smoother transistion, how do i get a job writing in hollywood?

  31. 31

I'll watch the show to see how it works with Ashton Kutcher. I think killing Charlie off is as good a way to get rid of him as any. Sheen blew a sweet deal with the show and my guess Lorrie will have a lot of fun with killing off his character. But the last season with the originl cast was getting pretty predictable. Also Sheen was looking almost too old for his role and I think they could do alot more with the kid's role.
