She's a big supporter of the latter, but hates the prejudice she's faces with the former.
There were a lot of people who were surprised to learn that Anna Paquin, who is married to her True Blood costar Stephen Moyer, is bisexual. She made the announcement during a PSAfor Cyndi Lauper's LGBT equality.org True Colors Fund. In the new edition of V Magazine, she reveals she had no issue coming out to the public - she was just never asked to clarify her sexuliaty before. She explains:
"Frankly, no one had ever asked me before. … There is a lot of prejudice against us but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be. Who people choose to sleep with — or spend their lives with — shouldn't matter, not that anyone particularly cares who I'm attracted to."
Um, we do … if it is anyone other than that delish vampy husband of yours! Speaking of Vampire Bill, last week, we told you how Stephen was constantly asked by fans to bite them and how he got permission from Miz Stackhouse before doing so. Anna also touched upon the subject in her interview, saying:
"There is probably something wrong with me, but I find it amusing to watch these men and women fawn all over him. It's not like anyone is really trying to do anything inappropriate. They just want him to hug them … or bite them."
LOLz! Nah, its true. None of them mean either of you any harm. Fans just want a moment of your time and to feel a part of your Bon Temps world! We're glad to hear you are such a good sport about it all, Anna!
