As we've said before, we just hope that justice ends up being served, one way or another.
Back in March, we were more than pleased to hear that Arizona shooter Jared Lee Loughner was indicted on 49 counts, including the attempted murder of congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
Then last month, Tucson Judge Larry Burns deemed Loughner to be "mentally incompetent" and unfit for trial after he lost control during a hearing, and shouted "she died in front of me" and "thank you for the freak show" while he was dragged out of the courtroom.
Now, we've learned that while in prison, Jared has been acting out. According to his lawyers, he threw a plastic chair against the wall of his cell, and he's spit on his attorneys on two separate occasions.
Attorneys say that a prison administrative hearing on June 14 deemed Jared to be a danger to himself, and now his lawyers are trying to ensure that he isn't forced to take anti-psychotic drugs.
No word at this point on whether or not he's already been given drugs, and if so, whether or not they've affected his behavior.
Whatever the reason, we continue to be glad that he's off the streets while his mental state is explored/assessed further.
