The Playboy Club Finds A Home In Salt Lake City

Playboy Club SLC

The Playboy Club television series may have been dropped by the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City a few weeks ago due to content reasons, but after respectfully accepting the affiliate's decision, NBC found a new home for it on MyNetworkTV!

"We respect the position of KSL and are pleased that KMYU can provide a home for The Playboy Club. This highly anticipated crime drama will now have the opportunity to be seen by the viewers throughout (the Salt Lake City market)."

That's great news for those who want to see it! It would be inneresting to check out the specific numbers from that city alone for the debut, too.

It'll be showing exactly when it was originally slated, too: Monday night in the fall!

Will U be watching? What about U Salt Lake peeps??

Hahahahaha. This will not get watched in Utah. No way.

Of course people in SLC will watch it. How do I know? I live there. It doesn't matter if they are of LDS faith or not, people will watch smut. I betcha some of the mormons will be closet watchers. Everyone enjoys a little boost in their sex life and this could be something that LDS people will secretly enjoy. I also know that because I grew up LDS and know how oppressed they are. They are starting to realize that sex is enjoyable and not just for reproduction. Who doesn't enjoy a little voyeurism?

of course people in SLC will watch this. I know this because I live there. There are lots of people, of the LDS faith or not, that will enjoy watching a little smut. Some are going to be closet watchers, which is just fine. You don't want your neighbor knowing that you enjoy sex and that you have sex even when you're not trying to reproduce! I grew up in the LDS faith and know how oppressed most of them are. Besides, who doesn't enjoy a little voyeurism?

The fact that a morman television statement is an affiliate of NBC and makes decisions based on religion for an entire state is BEYOND WRONG. That is the real issue that needs to be discussed. And for a religion that supposidly came to SLC to avoid religious persicussion, well why are they banning shows and inflicting their views on others when they went to SLC to avoid that from others? HYPOCRITES! And yes, they will be watching because a huge majority of mormans drink, smoke and have sex behind closed doors. AGAIN, HYPOCRITES.
