State Of Georgia Off To So-So Start

State Of Georgia Premiere

Omg! That's so NOT Raven-Symone!

Only capturing 1.32 million viewers, the plucky actress's new show, State of Georgia, underperformed compared to other ABC Family premieres, but still came in as the channel's second highest comedy starter in the 18-49 demo.

Okay, so we're not expecting her show to be as big as Pretty Little Liars or anything, but we know it can go above OK to GREAT, right?

Melissa & Joey, starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, led the night with 1.54 mil (demolishing it's fall season finale). See! The viewers are out there for female-centric ABC Fam comedies.

Disney fans! Change the channel if you wanna see your girl!

Raven needs to be on Saturday Night Live as a regular. She would be perfect for it.

I hate that bitch…not sure why. Maybe it was when she was on Chelsea Lately and told Chelsea not to ask about her love life because she stays away from the media despite the fact Chelsea threw her a bone by even having her on. Fat and unattractive is a brutal combo and how much work has that chick had done? I challenge anyone to look directly at her face for over 10 seconds.

I thought that it was cute

Re: J Live – So because raven doesn't talk about her love life you hate her?!… One - Raven was never ugly and she has lost alot of weight… You’re probably fat, ugly, lonely, and miserable at the fact that Raven isn’t!

@J Live You're a idiot. No photoshop involved. If you looked her up online instead of talking with your head up your butt you would know that she lost A LOT of weight. She is no longer a "big girl", she is skinny now and actually quite pretty! She had to wear body pads for the beginning episodes of the show because her character is supposed to be "bigger" at the beginning but "Georgia" loses weight throughout the season. Get a life and stop hating on people because they are more successful than you'll ever be. Do us all a favor and go sit down somewhere and read a self help book. K? bye!

It was like That So Raven without the psychic abilities and wanting to act instead of being a fashion designer. It is literally the same character. I like her, but she just overacts all the time and seems so one note.

On the other hand, I still love Melissa and Joey. It's cheesy and sitcom corny in all the adorable and dorky ways. It's cliche through and through, but so cute. They have nice chemistry.

I missed Joey and Melissa and watched this. It wasn't that bad, I don't know.. I miss sitcoms. Reality TV is so fake.

I really liked the pilot, cant wait for the whole season. Nice to Raven Baxter and Sabrina Spellman back on awesome shows.

I think she's has an ego, but it's not her fault just the people around hers. I'd love to watch this show and "Melissa and Joey", but unfortuantley I'm still on strike from all things ABC and Disney realted until they decide to bring back "All My Children" and "OLTL"!!!!! Six flags will get my money on my vaca before disney!

The reason people didn't watch it is because the previews make it look like a corny adult version of That's So Raven. Why can't she act normal? Why does she have to over do it? Its not funny. For kids, yes - its funny. For adults - not so much.
