Beyonce's Insightful Year Of 4 Documentary Available Now!

MTV debuted the anticipated Year of 4 on Thursday to the delight of fans everywhere.

The documentary covers Beyonce's life throughout the preparation of her latest album 4.

The short film begins with her on the beach, letting us into her thoughts saying:

I'm always happy when I'm surrounded by water. I think I'm a mermaid or I was a mermaid. The ocean makes me feel really small, and it puts my whole life into perspective. It humbles you and it grounds you and it makes me feel almost like I've been baptized. Am I the same Beyoncé? Absolutely not.

We're totally diggin' the doc, gurl!

    The documentary is amazing and shows a side to Beyonce that fans have never seen before. She is a total boss, and I mean that in a good way. Totally in control of her life, career and business. Very inspiring! Her work ethic is crazy and there were some very touching moments in the doc as well. The full version should be on youtube somewhere. I know other blogs have posted the full version.

    This doc was a great idea. She won't be everybody's cup of tea, but I think she's pretty cool. She has more spunk than I thought she did. She's said before that she's more comfortable in one on one situations, so I think it was really brave of her to make this material public. She's running an amazing business. I support her.

    you can criticize all you want but Beyonce work very hard to achieve the startdom she has now and that is impressing, no drugs, sex tape, alcohol or dozen of men.

    She is a great role model because she teach girls around the world to work hard and believe in yourself.

    her music is not for everyone but is not bad either.
    I like her very much and I like what she has to say and offer.
    let's be respectful folks.

    Great for her to learn how to take some time off to get that connection to the physical world back; and to have the luxury to slow down a bit and look around. This looks good.

    Loved it! my fav part is when she's in the studio with her crew and asking them to choose the songs that should be on the album…her and jay look sooooooo cute there!
