Revealed! Natalie Portman's Baby Is Named…

| Filed under: Baby BlabberNatalie Portman

Natalie Portman Baby Name

Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has held strong on ensuring privacy for her newborn baby boy.

Things are so undercover, we haven't even been able to catch a glimpse of him since his birth in early June!

She has also yet to reveal his name, but we think we may have finally found it out.

According to her cousin, the Hollywood babe's name is Alef!

Yep, Alef.

Though it isn't confirmed, we're betting it's true since beginning a name with an 'A' means 'to be a leader.'

That Natalie! Always one to be original, huh?

Aww, we're sure little Alef is adorbz. Now if only she'll bring him out so we can all see just how adorable!

Alef is the first letter of the hebrew alphabet.

Alef is the first letter of the Hebrew language. It sort of makes sense b/c she was born in Israel.

i was about to say the same thing, as natalie was born and raised (for a few years) in israel and she did mention that she wanted to raise her baby jewish, alef makes perfect sense. alef is the first letter of the alphabet and maybe it symbolizes her first child!

    What a dumb jew name.

Alef is the first letter of the Arabic alphabet too.

Ok so 'Alef' is the first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. It's ok - I like it. It's meaningful. At least she didn't name the baby SnareThunderPuss, ya know? Which could be worse.
