Not so fast!
Despite reports surfacing that Cee Lo Creen had signed on to also judge the upcoming UK version of The Voice, the singer's representative, Anne Watkins, has announced that nothing is official yet!
She says in a statement:
“Cee Lo Green is excited to return as a judge on the US version of The Voice for the second season, but contrary to recent reports, there is no agreement in place for Cee Lo to join the cast of BBC’s The Voice UK. At the moment, we can’t comment any further.”
Meanwhile, Green himself has reportedly said:
“I have been offered the coaching gig. I plan to take it…We just have to work out a schedule that is not completely overbearing.”
Makes sense to us!
If he had to drop out of Rihanna's tour because of his busy schedule, we can't imagine adding ANOTHER show to your roster would be an easy feat!
Here's hoping that they can figure out something that works for everyone!
We think he'd do just as good a job judging across the pond as he did here!
