Facebook Says They Have 750 Million Members Now!

Looks like you're gonna have your work cut out for you, Google+ Project…
Last month, nearly 6 million people in the U.S. deleted their Facebook accounts, and there was SOME question as to whether or not the social networking site could be on its way out.
Now, it appears that Facebook is actually doing quite well, because they released some numbers yesterday, and they've passed 750 million members worldwide. Wowsa!
Here's what Mark Zuckerberg had to say about it during a press conference on Wednesday:
"The metric of the last five years was about user growth. The driving narrative of the next five years is not about wiring up the world, but what cool stuff (apps) can you build with this wiring in place."
"We did not report 750 million because we do not believe it is the metric."
Love Facebook or hate it, you have to give Zuckerberg credit for bringing in 750 million members. That's seriously impressive.
Now the big question remains: will Facebook hit ONE BILLION MEMBERS???

im one of the 6 mil who deleted mine
I'm proud I'm not one of those 750 milion people.
liars smh. ask them how many people are ACTIVELY using the site and i'm sure the numbers will decrease dramatically. it would be more like 750 thousand.
I didn't realize there were that many mentally challenged people in the world
