The numbers are in and the big question is finally answered... Well, kind of!
Was The Interview a success?
So, how much, exactly, did it make for Sony?
Last month, we learned that Jaycee Dugard, the brave young woman who was kidnapped at age 11 and held against her will for 18 years, had finally agreed to sit down for her first televised interview since she escaped her captors.
We heard that Diane Sawyer would conduct the interview with her on ABC, and we were hoping that sharing her story might help her find some peace.
Now, we've learned some details about the emotional interview, which will air on July 10.
"Now I can walk in the next room and see my mom. Wow. I can decide to jump in the car and go to the beach with the girls. Wow, it’s unbelievable, truly."
And here's what Diane Sawyer had to say about the upcoming interview with Jaycee:
"She is going to tell you what she sees [when she looks at her daughters]. And her mother to is going to tell you that they are fully themselves and their daughters. She loves them completely and she protects them and their privacy. And also they are teaching her about this new life and the future too."
Wow. This is going to be such an emotional show. We'll be sure to have a couple of boxes of tissues nearby while we watch!
Will U tune in for Jaycee Dugard's interview with Diane Sawyer on Sunday?
