Tim Pawlenty, the former Minnesota governor, is running for President, and he was in Iowa recently where he asked/got asked some questions about our GaGalicious!
It's no shock when candidates are asked about MTV-type content and all that, but what was interesting was that Tim asked the bloggers first what their favorite GaGa song was!
Maybe he was fishing for them to ask it back, which they did, so he could flex his GaGa muscles:
“Well you know, in terms of the beat, I like ‘Bad Romance. I gotta say, even though she’s a little unusual, ‘Born this Way’ has some appeal. She’s actually very talented. Now if you go to the end of the HBO special, the Lady Gaga HBO special, and you watch her sing a cappella “Born This Way,” she can sing. She can definitely sing. She’s talented.”
Pawlenty also noted that if he limited his artistic taste only to conservatives, he “wouldn’t have a lot of choices.”
“You gotta be willing to tolerate different politics,” he said.
Fab! The man knows what he's talking about, and we're happy that he's accepting of her music. Sounds like he's getting pawlenty of it! (We're sorry, that was wide open.)
Though, we're still a little suspect if he really enjoys it or if he's using it as a way to get some attention for his campaign.
Either way, it worked!
