As HIGHlarious as New Moon was, we're not 100% sure if romantic comedy is the Twilight author's best genre…
Stephenie Meyer, who wrote all the Twilight books and is producing both Breaking Dawn movies, is ready to continue her new career as a producer…but this time with a romcom!
The Twilight author is attached to produce Austenland, a romantic comedy based on the book by Shannon Hale.
The movie's plot revolves around "a woman whose obsession with the Pride and Prejudice character Mr. Darcy is so extreme that it is hurting her love life. But after making her way to an Austen-themed English resort, she eventually falls for an actor playing Darcy."
The movie starts shooting in the U.K. this week, and it stars Keri Russell, Bret McKenzie, Jane Seymour, and Jennifer Coolidge.
Should be inneresting to see how Stephenie's first non-Twilight movie project turns out!
What do U think? Will Stephenie Meyer be a good movie producer?
