We're not surprised!
A chance to see Jennifer Aniston go psycho sexpot? Who wouldn't want to see that!?!
Even with a less than normal amount of movie-goers, the $37 million Horrible Bosses was able to pull off $28 million its first weekend!
That's well on track to crazy profit land!
Jeff Goldstein, an executive vice president at Warner Bros., thinks it's all about America's need for an over-the-top laugh-fest:
I think audiences have shown this summer that they want to go out and just have fun. There’s a lot of reality out there that’s too sobering, and people like to go and laugh in a theater. ’Horrible Bosses’ was cool and hip, but it was also something that people can relate to — having the boss from hell. Just like everyone who saw ’The Hangover’ knows what it’s like to go out and have a wild night.
So basically it's like this. If you haven't seen it yet, what are you doing with your life? Go get those tickets!
