Rupert Murdoch's Slimy Reporters Strike Again!

| Filed under: Legal MattersSad Sad

Rubert Murdoch Reporters Spy Illegally

Even more news has come up regarding the Rubert Murdoch macabre of journalism.

It has become evident now that reporters for News International's Sunday Times and Sun spied on former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Everything from the Brit's bank account to family medical records were illegally obtained for the purpose of getting some 'good dish.'

Nick Davies and David Leigh from The Guardian have reported that Times, Sun, and News of the World reporters and their private investigators followed Brown ruthlessly for over a decade.

They used information collected to then report private details including the news of his son's cystic fibrosis.

This shady web has caused News Corp's stock to go down more than seven percent today.

Not only that, but the lawyers suing the company have updated their complaint, accusing the board of "willfully ignoring illicit news-gathering practices."

Murdoch has since made a couple of desperate PR moves, but we don't think anything can help at this point.

People never tend to forget when their privacy is invaded - especially for the purpose of something so seedy.

We've already filled you in on our opinion of this disgusting news, so we won't rant anymore.

Instead, what do U think of this?

Yes, actually Perez you are the last person who should be suddenly concerned about respecting privacy. What with a GOSSIP blog and all… Just sayin.

Rupert Murdoch is Australian, ergo, criminal blood! You know the joke about America and Australia! Australia started off as a penal colony, and the US became one! Anyway, Rupert married the maid, and now his spoiled children and his aggressive wife will fight to the end!! But does Rupert have ANY morals at all? No, because he's Australian and from criminal blood!

His empire is too large to exercise proper oversight over his employees alleged criminality.
All of his many lawyers are going to be very, very busy; and this is just the tip of the iceberg with no doubt much more to come. People aren't going to allegedly be coerced into keeping quiet in fear of media hounding any more as the cat's out of the bag.

Everything Murdoch touches turns to garbage. Fox is a joke, and everything under Rupert is, really. People who don't know this already are deluded.

Does Robert Murdoch own any part of Perez? FOX TV isn't reporting it from what I have seen. He's a bully and wants the world to think and behave his way. Maybe this is the domino affect happy to his empire. Let's see who he can pay off to not open their mouth.

He's the biggest crook on the planet. Not kidding. He also runs Fox. People that watch Fox are fed nothing but fear and innuendo. The sad part is that they have no idea it's happening because most of what Fox spews out "sounds" logical, however it's all fear based in order to make you view things the way they want you to. We only know what our world is about by what we're fed. And Murdoch knows this intimately. Murdoch became a US citizen knowing exactly what he was doing. Now he owns one of the largest Networks on television. if you think the government has power, you're fucking nuts. People like Murdoch make the rules, make NO mistake about it. Do your homework instead of assume you know what's happening. However it's easier to just shrug it off as long as it isn't immediately effecting you.

Anyone running for public office can expect to be held to account, because the character of government officials matters; but alleged illegal practices for erstwhile seedy reasons isn't news gathering. It's run of the mill criminality if proven to be law breaking.

You post naked pictures of people even after they were obtained through theft. Your just as bad, if not worse.

There's been an art and media revolution going on for two decades - the mainstream media - all of them - have yet to talk about it. There is way too much consolidation in the arts and media and it has not only hurt the news credibility, but look at how dull, generic, and bland the music, books, and film have become

he politicians in the UK used to live in fear of Murdoch media but newsprint burnt a couple of years ago and now it's a busted flush. His Empire is crumbling and like Citizen Kane, he's yesterday.

Re: Prima facie – Rupert Murdoch's lack of morals matured when he relinquished Australian citizenship and became an American citizen. He felt right at home then.
