arnold signs on to first post scandal movie

Come on! You knew he'd be back!

Last we heard about Arnold Schwarzenegger's questionable future film career, there were talks that he'd STILL have a role in the new Terminator movie, but it would be a less substantial one.

No new word on his Terminator involvement yet, but in the meanwhile, he's signed on for his first post-scandal movie called Last Stand, which is a western flick that's been in development at Lionsgate for a long time!

Here's what a Lionsgate exec had to say about Arnold's involvement in the movie:

"It's a property which a zillion directors fell in love with: the good, the bad, the weird. It's an old-fashioned Western specifically designed for a 63-year-old broken-down guy with a moral decision whether Arnold decides to stand up for his town. We always needed an iconic figure for it."

"I can tell you from The Expendables it was electrifying when Arnold came on. He is still a big piece of news."

Whatever happens at the box office, people will DEF be talking about this one!

How do U feel about Arnold returning to the big screen? Would U still pay money to see his movies?

no one went to see the recent Mel Gibson film. the money people behind last stand should think twice before signing arnold onto the project.

GAWD…he looks like an old Austrian HouseFrau !

I'm looking forward to it. I still love him (as an actor).

I, for one have lost alot of respect for him. He had an affair with his housekeeper in the home that he and his wife raised their children. In the same home. Now that is total disrespect if I have ever seen it. He doesn't deserve to be respected. No, I will not watch anything with him in it any longer.

    No chance.
He's a disgrace. If he were just an actor it wouldn't be so bad but he portrayed himself as a family man and based his political career on lies and now he's trying to fall back on his career as an actor. He makes me sick.

The way I see it is…..this kind of thing happens in hundreds of thousands of homes all over the world…but the only reason people feel so strongly about this is because he is in the public eye. It happens the world over, do you feel bad for all those people too, or do they go unnoticed? Fine, its a horrible thing to have happened, but wether we like it or not, this is going to make him very popular in Hollywood at the moment.
