No Refunds For Rihanna Fans!

| Filed under: RihannaMusic MinuteBusiness Blitz

Wow, it really sucks if you were at Rihanna's Dallas show Friday night.

Not only did a fire erupt on stage (check out the scary footage above), ending the concert early, but looks like you won't getting a refund for your ticket.

Concert promoter Live Nation said it has no plans to offer fans a refund and it is unclear if Rihanna will be back.

As for RiRi fan Aaron Gifford, he's mad because he shelled out $300 for the show and he didn't get what he paid for!

"Not everyone is Rihanna and can just sing and make a million dollars. I mean, some of us actually have to work for our money," he said. "This isn’t just about me. It’s about everybody that worked hard to come see her and was disappointed."

What a big "eff you" to the fans! We know it's not Rihanna's fault and she doesn't have any control over what happened that night, but the concert promoters should find a way to compensate the fans. It's just not fair!

You forgot to mention the part where she showed up an HOUR late! Because of a delayed flight from New York to Dallas, so the concert was even shorter in reality, nevermind the fire

People who go to baseball games don't get their tickets refunded if their game ended early due to rain, why is this an 'eff you' when it happens in a concert? There is probably a provision for this if you read your ticket that says 'if the concert has to end early for any reason and X percentage of the concert has occurred than no refund will be given'.

Ofc they started the fire so she could get out of the concert without having to give the money back. Smart move bitch.

  4. 4

It was Rihanna's decision to not come back on stage. The fire was put out quickly and AAC said the concert could continue.

  5. 5

well shes on her way to losing tons of fans. Yeah…smart move Rihanna.

    NOT cool!

silly mario - if this was, lets say Christina Aguilera, you'd say something retarded like she should reimburse everyone out of her own pocket…………
freak accidents like this should tell that dumb ho something………….

Oh cmon perez she said many MANY times she has to come back!! obviously it means the people that were already and payed for the tickets will be allowed to come back for the show at no cost….but i bet even that wont be enough for people because theyll still want a refund, because people are fucken greedy like that.

honestly this doesn't surprise me…Live Nation has been known to do things like not refund for cancelled concerts and even cancel things a week before a show and screw the performers over. It's not Rihanna's fault but it seems like she should at least try and reschedule or get Live Nation to at least get a partial refund for the people who went

Re: justtospeaktruth – you really think those people could come back at no cost? odds are she wont hit dallas again till next year, and those people will have to pay again.and its not greedy to want to get what you paid for.

Not to mention the arena was only a third full, other news outlets who don't care about kissing her butt have reported. Live Nation has been losing money because her concerts aren't selling. Great music, not written by her, she always has the hits but people don't really like her anymore because she acts like she's better than everyone else.

Re: xoxo_anonymous – are you kidding? do you think rihanna's team is THAT stupid to charge them again when they're in the fault?? like seriously they know she will lose fans if she charges them AGAIN and get a serious bad rep cmon now, and i said theyd be greedy and STILL want their money to be refunded even if she came back to re-do her show because nothing is ever fair enough to some people.

Re: justtospeaktruth – its not her team, its Live Nation. almost all of thier tickets state that they wont refund for any reason, people just dont read the fine print.
so yes people will get charged again, and people will pay.

She did 18 songs. However, as an artist and for her fans, she might think about seeking to remedy the obvious iffy discontent somehow. Another show for the tickeholders who can show their stubs? It's really bad P.R. for her team to appear unconcerned about the value that was offered due to no fault of the fans, and it's just one night of her time.

$300??? What a moron. There is no seat in the AAC worth $300. I was there a couple of months ago for a concert & paid $100 and that was too much. the high price tickets are likely folding chairs on the court floor. It's a sports arena, not made very well for concerts. I sure won't be going back there, and I sure as hell wouldn't have shelled out 300 bucks for it.

  16. 16

it IS her fault because she could get Live nation to compensate. She is after all doing her shows for them. What a bitch

  17. 17

She is lucky nobody was hurt because chicky needs fire at her show because it lacks in the entertainment department
