Martin Scorsese George Harrison Doc

We all know about John Lennon. He was the rebellious, say whats on your mind leader.

Paul McCartney was the poetic, pretty one.

And Ringo Starr? Crazy drummer.

But what about George Harrison? The quiet one. What do most people know about him?

He didn't make headlines as much as the other Beatles did, but that didn't mean his talent or intrigue was any less remarkable.

Martin Scorsese knows that, and that's why he's been working on a film project with Harrison's widow for HBO.

The two parter, which airs on October 5-6, chronicles George's life from the beginnings in Liverpool to the end when he was an accomplished musician, philanthropist, and filmmaker.

Fans and new audiences will enjoy photographs and home movies never seen before.

In George Harrison: Living in the Material World, interviews with Paul, Ringo, and Yoko Ono as well as others close to the Beatle like Tom Petty and Phil Spector will coincide with the late artist's collections.

Perez - you suck. Lennon was the poetic one. Ringo was NOT crazy. McCartney was the cute one. Stick to writing about things you know….like a man's anus.

Can't wait for this! George was so underrated. He was the first x Beatle to come out with a number 1 album, All Things Must Pass.

I just listened to Cloud 9 yesterday for the first time in a very long time. It's so much better than I remember it. Excellent songs, production, and performance. I encourage everyone to check it out along with All Things Must Pass and George Harrison.

ALL the Beatles were awesome. And yes Perez dont know shit about Hetro's. Maybe Martin's eye brows can be fashioned into the beatles hairstyle! haha!

I can't wait to see it! I think George had a REALLY interesting story. His marriage to Patti Boyd, his best friend Eric Clapton's obsession with her… finding his beautiful wife Olivia…
Plus, I think he doesn't get NEARLY as much attention as he should for being such a brilliant songwriter. Paul and John got all the attention and credit, but George's music was ethereal. Even Frank Sinatra called George's song "Something" "the greatest love song ever written." No small compliment, there.
