Audience Cheers On Sarah Palin's Losing Streak In Front Of Bristol
When Bristol Palin agreed to appear on The Tonight Show, she did so to promote her new book.
But when the time came for her interview, it seemed all Jay Leno wanted to discuss was her mother's possible run for the presidency.
He asked her if there was any reason for Sarah Palin not to run, and the comedian sitting next to Bristol answered, "she could lose!"
The crowd's laughter soon turned to cheering, leaving Bristol in a bit of an awkward place.
Okay. So. We definitely don't think Sarah should be president. Duh. But since when is her daughter her spokeswoman?
With Sarah as her mom, the girl is probably trying to venture *away* from politics at this point.

"the comedian next to her"? That is Don Rickles. He is legendary. Do you know anything about anything that didn't happen this year? Maybe you should get some people on your staff that are older than 14 and know about more than just the Kardashians.
"the comedian next to her?" Are you kidding? That's Don Rickles, show some respect.
"I think that people treat her poorly, they treat her with no respect, and I think it’s because they’re envious of her. She’s got a good family, she’s got a good husband, she’s got awesome support, she’s got God on her side, and I think people are envious of that." - Snowbilly pass-out party bottom and unwed teen mother Bristol Palin, revealing her insider knowledge of God's political affiliation.
Don Rickles is the man!
You mean The Tonight Show with Jay Leno…The Late Show is David Lettermans show.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME. The comedian sitting next to her. He has been around longer than anyone you have ever written about you idiot!! Its Don Rickles. You are stuck in one era. I can't believe you!
She looks like Jay's daughter with that stupid piece of rubber in her chin.
This stupid girl would just be another unwed single mother on public assistance if she were not sociopath Sarah's daughter. She cannot speak well.
If Sarah Palin runs she could win of lose. On the other hand BO will run, and he will lose. He is the most incompetent President in the history of the United States. He should have remained a community organizer, pushing left-wing ideas; but no he became the President and has nearly destroyed the country financially. The stock market and the country will celebrate when he is out of office.
this post if so full of it! A legend and it's the Tonight Show!
You had a big bowl of stupid this morning right?
lol, Don you're the man. He just doesn't give a damn!
Why on earth did Jay even invite her on the show? She's famous for … remind me again? Getting knocked up as a teen? Yes, that's it. Such a rarity.
I always feel bad when I see Bristol, there seems to be a sadness to her. I don't think she was cut out for this public pseudo celebrity kind of existence.
Re: Matrix – “It would be difficult to identify a President who, facing major international and domestic crises, has failed in both as clearly as President Bush,” concluded one respondent. “His domestic policies,” another noted, “have had the cumulative effect of shoring up a semi-permanent aristocracy of capital that dwarfs the aristocracy of land against which the founding fathers rebelled; of encouraging a mindless retreat from science and rationalism; and of crippling the nation’s economic base.”
America’s historians, it seems, don’t think much of George W. Bush.
But, as George Mason University’s History News Network reports, the historians want to stack him up against his forty-two predecessors as the nation’s chief executive. Among historians, there is no doubt into which echelon he falls–his competitors are Millard Fillmore, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, and Franklin Pierce, the worst of the presidential worst. But does Bush actually come in dead last?
Yes. History News Network’s poll of 109 historians found that 61 percent of them rank Bush as “worst ever” among U.S. presidents. And was his presidency a success or failure? On that score the numbers are still more resounding: 98 percent label it a “failure.”
Re: Matrix – I love the way people blame Obama for ruining the country financially. Just look at the nose dive the economy was in before Obama was elected - it was 'ruined' long before Obama. But it is awfully convenient of him to be there to take the blame. If you truly believe that the Republicans are going to make things better, you are in for a big disappointment.
Re: Matrix –
Here are some of the comments that the historians furnished:
“No individual president can compare to the second Bush,” wrote one. “Glib, contemptuous, ignorant, incurious, a dupe of anyone who humors his deluded belief in his heroic self, he has bankrupted the country with his disastrous war and his tax breaks for the rich, trampled on the Bill of Rights, appointed foxes in every henhouse, compounded the terrorist threat, turned a blind eye to torture and corruption and a looming ecological disaster, and squandered the rest of the world’s goodwill. In short, no other president’s faults have had so deleterious an effect on not only the country but the world at large.”
“With his unprovoked and disastrous war of aggression in Iraq and his monstrous deficits, Bush has set this country on a course that will take decades to correct,” said another historian. “When future historians look back to identify the moment at which the United States began to lose its position of world leadership, they will point—rightly—to the Bush presidency. Thanks to his policies, it is now easy to see America losing out to its competitors in any number of areas: China is rapidly becoming the manufacturing powerhouse of the next century, India the high tech and services leader, and Europe the region with the best quality of life.”
I really don't care if Sarah Palin runs for president in 2012. Anybody who runs for the position can do a better job than the current idiot we have in there now!

Re: pienado – LOL, I won't forget that one!
Re: AttFinch – More copy and paste from the Rolling Stone and commentaries re their 2006 article? Here's more from New's Source:
"Some of us believe that the history profession is suffering from various forms of postmodern decline. One of those forms, is the idea that political advocacy and historical scholarship are indistinguishable parts of the same enterprise. This politicization of historical scholarship is so unreflectively accepted that we no longer expect historians to honor even the effort to aspire to objectivity. The Rolling Stone piece proudly says of Wilentz: “’Sean is one of the best historians of his generation,’ says the dean of American historians, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. ‘His careful and thoughtful analysis of current political events demonstrates that historians can also be good citizens.’” By which Schlesinger of course means that he and Wilentz agree on their politics; and no one seems to question whether this business of commenting on “current political events” really is the business of historians." In other words it is too early to judge the Bush presidency. And the Rolling Stone is has a very obvious left wing bias. This also applies to those calling Obama the worst president ever.
Perez: Misleading headline. How is Sarah on a losing streak? She's popular with a lot of people. She is not going to run for office. She's pulling a "Donald" and laughing all of the way to the bank.
…"the comedian" is DON F+CKING RICKLES bitch! That man is LEGEND. Grow a brain you idiot.
Re: Matrix – OMG, you ARE delusional. Too funny.
This is the Tonight Show and not the Late Show and that "comedian next to her" is Don Rickles! He's pretty much the most famous insult comic EVER.
It wouldn't hurt you to use Google when you write your posts.
Re: poodlewithamohawk – I agree. Sarah is playing the will-I-or-won't-I game just to make bank.
The funniest thing about Bristol to me is she stole her whole "how I got pregnant" story off Glees' storyline of how Quinn got pregnant. Bristol is not only a bad liar, she is not even an original liar.
EVERY book Sarah Palin has written has ended up on the NY TIMES Best Seller List. Bristol Palin's book just ended up on the NY TIMES Best Seller List this week. Perez, where did YOUR BOOK land????
lol!
Re: poodlewithamohawk – I truly thank you for this comment…always enjoy reading your comments, and attfinch…or anyone that posts a comment withpout having to pull their head out. It is hard not to judge the big O(and I do try)when the incompetence is so often thrown in our faces so blatantly…and I voted for him. Perez, please, get yourself together, man.
Re: poodlewithamohawk – actually it was an article written by Scott Horton for Harper's Magazine. as you can see the majority of the information was taken from 109 historians who were polled by History News Network

History News Network (HNN) is a project of the Center for History and New Media at George Mason University. Although the HNN resides on GMU's server, it operates independently of the university as a non-profit corporation registered in Washington State. The editor and founder of HNN is Richard Shenkman, associate professor of history at George Mason University; its Advisory Board includes other academic scholars such as historians Pauline Maier, Gil Troy and Joyce Appleby, and Leonard Steinhorn. HNN sponsors several history-oriented blogs including Liberty and Power (coordinated by David T. Beito), and Cliopatria (coordinated by Ralph E. Luker). It is heavily oriented towards United States history and historians.

what does that mean?
I am always quite surprised when people blame a politician - like they had a magic debt wand that could be zapped with either outcome. In my opinion the entertainment industry has corrupted politics. Politicians have become confused on how to currently and effectively run for an office. And nobody in the country is willing to take accountability for their own actions, and votes. People need to remember that the governing body was elected by the masses. We are not to expect perfection, only evolution of thinking, WE have the biggest responsibility to live right, vote our conscience and work hard and give back to our neighbors. Putting all political parties aside.
And Don Rickles is the original cringe worthy comedian, he is a classic and your writers are ridiculous, and Jay Leno's Tonight Show is horrid.
i think we all agree perez is an idiot for not identifying mr rickles. as if he's just some comedian. but more importantly, why does anyone are about bristol palin. she's done nothing, was on daning with the stars for no reason. another kardashian, housewife of, hilton, the hills, no talent.
Re: Matrix – bo might not be perfect, but your lack of understanding about the financial situation of the us shows your ignorance. fyi, it happened prior to his presidency (a month before the 08 election). reserach to dow from that point to where it is now. go back to watching glenn beck. why do you bother here.
Re: dryan1971 – compared to the idiot before too? if obama is an idiot, than bush was a mrorn's dumb cousin
Re: AttFinch – …to pull ones head out of ones ass….
Yes, to repeat the others, "the comedian sitting next to her," is Don friggin Rickles!
Ok ok. Bristol Palin -btw-that name is ridiculous and makes me think of Harvey's Bristol Cream-or shoe polish…whatever. Her and her mom should just disappear. Get a freaking education or real talent. Stop wasting my time. I need to know more about J-Lo or Li-Lo, or others deserving to be talked about. Thank you!
Re: Matrix – Both of the bush are the dumbest they fucked up the country.
If you like 10 percent unemployment, a sagging economy, and declining job opportunities go ahead and mindlessly support BO. I don't care! It just doesn't make any sense to me for the goverment to increase borrowing and spending when the country is broke. I guess we will be the first country to borrow ourselves into prosperity.
Re: witchwoman – and you will be doing that when?
Bravo to all of you who gave props to Don Rickles! Shame on you Perez…or whatever idiot is writing for you now…
"the comedian"? Moron, Rickles is a legend. Whoever booked Rickles on the same day as Bristol Palin? Not a complete idiot.
If it wasn't for her fucked up mother, she still would be popping out babies in Alaska . . .
Re: boston61 – Boston61, I couldn't have said it better!
The entire family is below average in intelligence, and yet they continue to attempt to profit off even dumber Americans of the short yellow bus variety. They deserve whatever silliness and embarrassment we can throw at them.
Are you kidding? All she's been all along is a promotional tool for her mother! I'm sure the book was even Sarah's idea! Give me a break, EVERYTHING with that family is far too contrived.
Perez, the comedian next to Bristol is only the "legendary" Don Rickles. I am not even as old as you and I know that much and you are suppose to be an entertainment blogger. What a joke….you just enjoy pressing people's buttons to score political points with the Hollywood crowd.
Re: AttFinch – Have you ever heard the phrase rewriting history. Historians like the news media are now political creatures who are paid off by the highest bidder. The news media is no longer a watch dog it is simply a lap dog. By the way your historian neglected the fact that Bush unlike his contemporaries had to deal with the largest and most deadliest attack to American civilians on American soil. He also along with U.S. leaders at the time had to design a plan to fight a new type of war called terrorism. By the way, I am not a Bush supporter and I am not an Obama supporter. I had heard that the Bushies money was going to support Huntsman so that is definitely one candidate I will avoid.
Re: Geat real – Your point was the best point on this subject.
Perez, you ignorant FUCKTARD. that, as many have already announced, is Don Rickles. Your stupidity astounds me.
Re: yumba1 – people can try to rewrite history as much as like but the facts are bush was warned about a possible attack.

Government officials have acknowledged for the first time that an F.B.I. agent in Phoenix had urged the F.B.I. headquarters to investigate Middle Eastern men enrolled in American flight schools. That memorandum also cited Mr. bin Laden by name and suggested that his followers could use the schools to train for terror operations, officials who have seen the memorandum said.
Administration officials said the warning given to Mr. Bush did not come from the F.B.I. or from the information developed by the Phoenix agent. Instead, it was provided as part of the C.I.A. briefing he is given each morning, suggesting that it was probably based on evidence gathered abroad.
The warning of the hijacking was given to President Bush at his ranch in Crawford, Tex., where he was on vacation. It was not clear why the White House waited eight months after the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington to reveal what Mr. Bush had been told.
Re: yumba1 – and it is common knowledge the bush administration used fabricated truths for going to war with iraq.
*
Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction.
Dick Cheney
We know for a fact that there are weapons there.
Ari Fleischer
These are but two of the many quotes from the time leading us to war, and when we finally invaded Iraq, and the reporters looked for the WMDs, they found none. This is old news, but I'm still upset about it. How could an American President lie to us so blatantly.
The man who was the basis for the WMD lies is Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi, he has said "I had the chance to fabricate something to topple the regime. I and my sons are proud of that." Although there was no corroboration, or even Americans present during his interviews, President Bush used this man's lies to lay the foundation for the Iraq war, because they could not believe Saddam Hussein didn't have WMDs. It goes against everything they believed, so in the end the Bush Administration thought to use false evidence, and hoped they would find those weapons vindicating their treachery, but that isn't how the story ends. There were no WMDs found, Saddam told the truth about his weapons program.
It's a little late now. But the blame for all the lives lost during and after the Iraq was lay at President Bush's feet. I believe he will go down as one of the worst Presidents this nation has ever had.
The nation could get behind a Bristol Palin/Jeb Bush ticket in 2012. Drill baby drill. Drill hard fast and deep, that's what the country needs. Drill in the gulf and bring back 30,000 jobs and drill in Anwr. Make the US energy independent. De-throne BO in 2012.
Re: blsdjan – Never underestimate the power of the middle of the curve.Re: AttFinch – I do believe She was complimenting both poodle and your comments. You can both form critical thoughts and sentences without having to pull your head out…
Re: AttFinch – YOUR AND IDIOT
Re: AttFinch – YOUR AN IDIOT
her chin llooks ridiculous it is really bad woman that young being so vain they would do that to themselves. its more proof that this country is becoming less it matters who you are on the inside and more about it matters how many people want to have s$x with you for woman especially though men are catching up quickly
What losing streak? She's only lost two elections that I know of. (LT Gov. & VP) But she's a shoe-in for the Presidency. By the way, the audiences reaction just shows how classless the people in the audience were. And how unbelievably poised and gracious Bristol Palin is. Especially with that "hockey puck" making faces during the whole interview. He was utterly delightful. First the Tonight Show seats her next to Louis CK, and now this guy. Just wonderful. Maybe Bill Maher will be next. Stay classy, NBC.
