Michael Skupin is ready to talk.
The ex-contestant said in a statement:
The 54-year-old explained that he's turning to religion following his arrest, adding:

Because a Spanish priest took a picture of himself with another man (above), and they both happened to be shirtless, he has been accused of being gay and subsequently removed from his parish.
He is not going down without a fight, however, claiming that it was an innocent picture taken with a young Cuban seminarian. The bishop that has expelled him also wants him to undergo a psychiatric cure, and take an HIV test.
The priest, who insists that he and the 28-year-old with whom he was photographed on a trip to Fátima are just good friends, and threw down this challenge:
"Let them measure my anus and see if it is dilated."
Locals are pretty upset by this, as they should be, and have banned together to help him in any way they can. They've collected over a thousand signatures for the cause.
The priest, Andrés García Torres, is planning to go to Rome to prove his case.
Even if he IS gay, to put anyone through something like this is terrible! Why can't faith and being who you are go hand-in-hand?? It's absolutely unfair either way, and nobody should be treated like this — gay or not — for taking a shirtless picture.
Shame on that bishop!
Equality for all!
