Marc & Jennifer's Split: The Signs Were There
We were just so reassured by their love to notice them.
This week's most shocking news came from Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony yesterday when the couple announced they plan to get a divorce after seven years of marriage. If there was one celebrity couple together right now we would've put money on lasting, it would've been these two. They both had lucrative careers, they shared the spotlight with each other and they have the cutest twins in Hollywood to keep them glued together.
But alas, it seems not even Max and Emma could keep these two together, which is such a shame, especially for them. So what went wrong? And when? And why??? The answers to these questions we don't have as of yet, but we can tell you the signs were there for at least a month that things were rocky between them.
Consider this - when the royal couple came to town earlier this month, who was at Jennifer's side? Her mother, NOT MARC. A few weeks before that, who took the children to Disneyland with her and rode Dumbo the Flying Elephant high in the air with the twins? Her mother, NOT MARC. And what about that impromptu trip to Europe? Was it really that impromptu? And what about the Fourth of July? Jen was spotted with the kids playing in Malibu - where was Marc???
In fact, if memory serves, the last time Jen and Marc made any kind of public appearance together was on June 7 in New York. They attended the Samsung Hope for Children Gala and Jen looked very unhappy.
Geesh! We wish we would've have sensed something sooner. Poor dear must be really low right now. Marc as well.
There's still time you two. Couldn't there be a chance you guys could reconcile???

I'm not shocked at all. Marc's got all the talent, but she makes all the $$$ and gets all the attention. He had a rep for beating on women, too. He beat Dyanara all the time. That's why she dumped him after two years and a baby. Of course he cheats…which is how Jenny from the Block got him. If you told me Gloria Estefan and her hubby were divorcing then I woulkd be totally shocked. But not for these two. it was always about making a show.

Karma for both of them. I'm amazed at how Brangelina still has Maniston hating on them. JLo and Marc are no different. JLo has tossed men out like trash, with the exception of Ben who had the sanity to dump her ass. Marc dumped Dayanara soon after a second lavish wedding and two kids to be with JLo. Maybe she'll start her Madonna phase and start hooking up with Puerto Rican or Brazilian 20 year old models.

I am not suprised it happened. J.Lo. is such a bitch. I watched her for a week on the set of her movie "Angel Eyes" in Toronto 10 years ago. She was awful. She always had 2 big black body guards next to her. Nobody could come up and say friendly Hello. The diva wouldn't have it. I wanted to say hello from a very big producer/manager, a friend of mine, who created her and I asked one of the big black bodyguards about it because nobody could even be a few feet away from her. She didn't want to. A friend of mine lived in NY years ago next to Marc Anthony, who wasn't yet a star. He said he was such a cool guy. J.Lo. is very difficult woman and I don't think she can find a man with whom she can be. Nobody can tolerate sh…t from her.

KARMA!!!!! everyone knows J.Lo track record with men; surprised it lasted this long. this is divorce #4 for her and #2 for him. just think back they were married a few days after he got a quicky divorced from former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, the mother of his 2boys whom by all account he was abusive towards. lets just hope they handle this as grown ups for the sake of the children
More people would be surprised if they stayed together THAN if they got divorced. Everyone pretty much saw this coming. Her first real and only was and still is Ben. She just jumped onto Marc because that same year Ben got married and had kids. Marc was just a rebound that lasted for way too long. I don't think he was abusive or a drunk like people are saying. Why does it always have to the guy's fault? Just sayin'. THIS IS her third marriage and his second so they're both messed up. The chemistry between them just went away or maybe it just wasn't really there to begin with. The only people who know is them, but to say this shocking?? I think not.
She is making big money now. I thought her love don't cost a thing. She was promoting her perfume on tV and her mom was with her. Hmm…Oh, well 7 years is a good try. But, Mark has the talent in that family.
Did people see this coming from the beginning?? Yes. But at this exact time?? Absolutely not. At least I didn't. I thought that it would have been much earlier, or even much later. But not now, right after having 2 kids and currently strong careers. Of course I was hoping that they would make it. All of us were! Well, except for the folks in Vegas that had money riding on it.
Jennifer married Skelator and her career tanked so she dumped him.
She is smart and like making millions.
She did the same thing when her career tanked because of her relationship with P Diddy A.K.A Sean Combs. After she dumped him her career improved.
The same thing will happen now she that she will no longer be photographed or seen with Skelator.

The whole "the signs were there" thing is BS. However, who is surprised? She's been divorced twice plus had a broken engagement prior to this marriage & Marc has one divorce under his belt. The fact that both of them have been divorced before obviously could not 100% guarantee that they would get divorced from one another as well. But, the statistics were higher for them. Then, add to that the fact that they are in Hollywood, and I'd say that probably covers it.
