As we mentioned earlier this month, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is getting sued by Gotham NYC Entertainment who claims the Jersey Shore star dumped the company without giving them any notice.
Mike and his attorneys claim Gotham "did MORE HARM than good to" him and his career and that they will "pay Gotham what they are owed, but no more."
The suit is currently for $1 million.
As for Mike Petolino from Gotham Casting, he is speaking out, saying:
“While I never once claimed sole responsibility for Sorrentino's success or any of his fame. I believe my professional contribution to the client's success speaks for itself.
I am proud of all the groundbreaking things we did together in helping Mike become the first male reality superstar. Earning substantial dollars in 2010 and 2011.”
Petolino goes on to add some blame to Mike’s bro, Marc Sorrentino, saying:
“Unfortunately it seems Sorrentino's brother is advising that Sorrentino will not honor his contractual obligations. I'm sure this will be the first of many ‘enlightened’ decisions on behalf of Sorrentino from parties with limited experience in this profession. As I personally have no ill will towards Mike Sorrentino being that I always considered him a friend. We do hope Mike gets involved ASAP, so we can come to a quick resolution.”
There's a lot of finger pointing going on. We'll have to wait and see what a judge decides.
