Hopefully he can stay out for a while this time!
To recap, back in December, DMX was sentenced to serve a year in an Arizona prison after admitting to violating probation by drinking alcohol.
He was supposed to be released last week, but was forced to spend an extra week behind bars for failing a drug test.
Now, X has served his extra week, and he's being released today.
Here's what DMX's manager Nakia Walker had to say about it in a statement:
"Earl has so much more to offer the world. His latest project has been on hold for so long! It is now time for X to redefine the world of Hip-Hop with his highly anticipated album of inspirational, painful & street accredited rhymes. It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel."
And here's what DMX had to say about his post-release plans:
"I spoke to my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife. I'm going to go see my daughter while the sun is up, then I'm going to be in the studio, man."
We certainly think it's nice that his daughter is his #1 priority now, and we give him credit for wanting to get right back to work, but we just really hope he doesn't get into trouble again soon.
Unfortunately, X has got a bad track record of not learning his lesson.
Do U think DMX will turn things around this time, now that he's free?
