Does Alaska Have Its Own Loch Ness Monster?!

Oh, crap! Why did that mother effing cryptid have to end up there??!

That thing better start swimming, and FAST!

Doesn't he know that Sarah Palin likes to shoot things out of helicopters for fun?! He could be next!

The legend of the Loch Ness monster has been around for centuries, but apparently, a video has surfaced from 2009 that depicts a very-similar looking creature making its way across an Alaskan body of water, which is set to air tonight on the show Hillstranded, a new Discovery Channel special!

Check out a photo from the footage (above)!

According to various accounts, this thing has a "long neck, a horse-like head, large eyes, and back bumps that stick out of the water," and many suspect that it's a Cadborosaurus, which apparently originated from Cadboro Bay, British Columbia.

Paul LeBlond, the former head of the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of British Columbia, says:

"I am quite impressed with the video. Although it was shot under rainy circumstances in a bouncy ship, it's very genuine. It must be a mammal or a reptile, since it oscillates up and down in a vertical plain, which eliminates sideways-oscillating fish. We cannot go out in the ocean poking everywhere, but we are always on the lookout for new accounts."

And according to the Hillstranded star, Andy Hillstrand:

"We saw a big, long white thing moving in the water. We chased it for about 20 minutes. Spray came out of its head. It was definitely not a shark. A giant eel may be possible, but eels don't have humps that all move in unison. I've never seen anything like it before. We live in Alaska, so we might investigate 'Cadborosaurus' again in future. We are always up for an adventure."

Fascinating, indeed!

And although we're sure it's either a fake or something else entirely, we want to see this full video!

No harm in keeping an open mind about those scaly little friends we may not yet know are out there!

And again, if there IS some bizarre Loch Ness creature swimming around up there, we hope it stays FAR away from Sarah's house! Ha!

I have it on good authority, it's actually Sarah Palin - swimming to Russia.

I just watched most of this and it was really unimpressive. Same, "oh look, omg! what is that?" crap that turns out to be nothing. I believe in the existence of many cryptids, but this was a bore, no proof of anything definitive was discovered. Probably just a super otter or a sturgeon anyway.

Isnt it funny that we never get a clear picture of any of these Monsters. Im just saying

Re: Austin TX – EXACTLY! with the age of all of the HD cameras, anti shake processors, powerful zoom lenses, nobody can still get a clear shot!

    How can this surprise anyone?

Large sea creatures are more common than most even imagine. What is so incredible about our oceans, seas, lake and even rivers is that there is so much life that is yet to be discovered.
Look at the oceans for examples of animals that are larger than anything we can even imagine on land. A ‘dino’ of salt water, the blue wale, is absolutely MASSIVE! Watch anything that has to do with under water life and you would swear you were on another planet. Just because its large doesn’t mean it’s menacing or dangerous.
As for this video… Have you heard of the White Sturgeon? It is known to live in Alaska and has been clocked in at a maximum of over 6 meters (21ft). wiki it. hmmmmm what a monster.
I’m not an advocate for anything. But when aspects of our world that are simply unknown turn into something that is automatically ‘scary’, ‘creepy, or ‘ dangerous’ makes worries me. As a diver there are so many NEW interesting things that can be experienced on any dive. I only wish that people are curious to learn more about our planet.

Common people. Don’t be so clueless about what is actually out there.

Its bs. Everyone has a decent COLOR digital camera to take pictures. Wat is this grainy black and white fakeness??? Its two logs, people

Sure, let's not worry at all about the fact that reptiles could not possibly survive in freezing arctic waters.

If not from the nether-deep, that could also be a big-ass air/water ROD, maybe not even of earthly origin. Even travellers from elsewhere probablyl like a nice bath.

Re: Unbelievable! – Arctic waters aren't freezing right now. Lots of marine life head very far north to feed at this time of year. They migrate south as it gets colder along with Canada geese, etc.

If there was one, Sarah would have killed it by now.
