She might not have a man, but at least she got a
great extraordinary album out of the breakup!
Turn on the radio, TV or practically anything that makes noise and you'll probably hear Adele's Rolling in The Deep come blaring at you. No joke, if that song doesn't win Song Of The Year at the next Grammys, there is no justice in the world. However, if that is the only song you are listening to from Adele's album 21, you are missing out on a lot! Girl went through some mega pain to get that record out, and we're not talking about dealing with labels or songwriters or other artists.
As Adele has said before, 21 rose from the ashes of her broken heart after her relationship with a man she truly loved went to shiz. She explains in a new interview:
"It was the most brilliant relationship I have ever been in … I expected too much, I was needy, I was jealous even though I'm not a jealous person. We both said a lot of things in the heat of the moment. We were perfect and we were totally meant to be together - we just met at the wrong time. Maybe we'll be together in the future, I don't know. I'm constantly looking for him in other people."
We know that broken heart still needs a lot of mending, but hopefully your success the last few weeks has filled the void. And no worries - the things we love most have a way of coming back to us somehow. Maybe this is how for you and him!
