Steve Carell thinks a lot about The Office and what it has meant to him, including what it'll be like to watch the upcoming season without having to "go back to school" with his friends.
"It is a little weird that everyone else is going back to school and I have graduated. It will be interesting two weeks from now. I'm sure I'll have some pangs. I've worked with them for so many years," he says. "I'll miss them."
"I have no regrets in terms of moving on," Carell goes on. "I left at the right time for me. But the show will continue and will be great."
He also digs the idea of James Spader joining the cast:
"I look forward to watching him," he says. "I think it's going to be a great year."
It's wonderful to see him so supportive of his friend, and he'll be joining them again soon at the Emmys as he's been nominated again this year!
Though, there are no plans for a reunion at this time. It's be nice to see him again before or on the series finale, whenever that might happen!
We miss us some Michael Scott!
