Oh man! SO cool!
As we've reported, Hugh Jackman made a surprise appearance yesterday at Comic-Con to promote his new movie, Real Steel, and during which, he revealed some pretty SPOILERIFIC, yet awesome details about the much-anticipated sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine - and who to expect to see the iconic character battle as his main villain in the flick!
Check it out…AFTER THE JUMP!
“I’m filming Les Miserables in February, but before that I will be filming Wolverine 2 in October. Chris McQuarrie has written a fantastic script and it should turn out really good. I’ll fight the Silver Samurai in it so that should be exciting. Most of the filming will take place in Japan.”
For those of who unfamiliar with the character from the comic series, the Silver Samurai is Kenuichio Harada, the half brother of Wolverine's lady friend, Mariko Yashida - and he is NONE too pleased about their relationship. His father, Shingen, is also apparently responsible for the superhero's samurai training.
What a cool direction to take his story!
And although we're still bummed that Darren Aronofsky stepped down as director, we have a feeling this one will still be a vast improvement over the first one!
What do U think?? Are U looking forward to The Wolverine??
