Amy Winehouse's Last Time On Stage.

| Filed under: Music MinuteAmy WinehouseR.I.P.Sad Sad

Although Amy Winehouse chose not to sing, please check out the late singer's last recorded time on stage, cheering her protege, Dionne Bromfield, as she performed at the iTunes Festival on Wednesday night (above).

Despite her many personal troubles and struggles with addiction, we imagine that this is exactly how she'd like to be remembered: looking healthy, happy, and proud of her goddaughter.

That's the Amy we should be focusing on - the talented, supportive, and loving young woman who truly changed and inspired so many with her music.

May she R.I.P.

Beautiful. May she always be remembered for her incredible talent and passion for music, and her undying faith in those she loved, like Dionne. Rest and be free without pain and suffering gorgeous girl.

It's really sad, but I don't think it came as a surprise to anyone .. Still, 91 teenagers, who loved life got shot yesterday, and a bomb went off in our capital, and has shook our whole country, leaving everyone scared and hurt. But this is worldwide news, ignorant, ignorant world ..

  3. 3

"healthy"…you're joking right?? she looks just as strung out as always.

  4. 4

Mario is going to constantly be posting every little tid-bit of this death in several posts so he can cash in on her death. THe more stories he posts, the more hits he gets for the website. What kind of sick fuck would cash in on someone's death?

the amy we should focus on is the glutinous drunk druggie…the selfish pig…we should use her in every healthy class in every school to teach why thinking drugs and drink are cool..are not….she had every advantage, ones that most people dream about but she was too much of a jerk to enjoy it….goodbye i wont miss reading of your messed up antics.

  6. 6

She looks more alert and happy. Don't know about healthy. R.I.P

@nyalan, addiction is a disease. no one is a jerk for refusing treatment. i think her refusal of treatment shows just how bad her addiction got. it is sad. calling amy a "selfish pig" is very ignorant and shallow though. she does not deserve that, no matter if she is alive or dead as i am sure you never met her. i have to say i am very saddened by her loss. i was hoping for a miraculous comeback because she was so talented.

Re: lalaaly55 – people like you are why she is dead..excusing bad behavior as, oh she couldnt help it…bull…thats the excuse child molesters and rapists and druggies use..oh it was beyond my control..bull..it is all about these people caring more bout their enjoyment than anything else…all addict means is gluttonous pig…oh i love ice cream so i eat 10 gallons a day now i am fat its not my fault…get over it and stop being so self centered and self absorbed…go volunteer among the sick and poor and you will forget to sit home and do drugs for laughs..these people make me sick.

and if it were someone you didn't like, you;d be bashing them for being a drug addict and saying drugs are never the answer and to get help before it was to late. i used to like this website, but it's become 1 sided lately

As sad as I was to hear of her untimely death, I am very tired of someone who produced only TWO albums being compared with Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix. Those artists left behind a large legacy of music; two albums is NOT a large legacy of music. It's a blip on the radar screen of pop culture. She'll be remembered more for lost potential than for anything she did.

i think she should be remember for what she was: an artistically elaborated trainwreck! we can not ignore the fact that that's what she was. and we can not ignore the fact that some people who surround us are in the same situation, they're a bunch of drug addicted people that sooner or later will die from a drug related problem. that's the reality and we need to wake up for it before we see history repeating itself over and over.

Re: VickyJolie – Vicki, last time I checked, the Oslo tragedy is worldwide news too. At least we heard about it here in America. Our newspapers and stations have reported heavily on it. We are all very saddened by those events and we are sad about Amy too.

  13. 13

BEEHIVE.. REAL ORIGINAL… DID U GET PROGRAMMED TO SAY THAT

  14. 14

    @trannytakesatumble

I agree but its mario. he's a sad excuse of a human being. Though since he has aids he won't be around much longer.

  15. 15

This is ridiculous!!! I do not feel sorry for her, but for her family! This girl was living on borrowed time, she always looked horrible, and didnt she just cancel her shows in Europe. I hate all the stars who call themselves friends of her, why didnt they help?? I hate the saying you can't help someone who doesnt want to be helped, sure as hell you can. All these stars with so many resources, they should be upset at themselves for watching their "friends" slowly kill themselves… Amy Winehouse, Heath Ledger, Ryan Dunn, to name a few.

  16. 16

you are SUCH hippocrit! eat shit and die u asshole

  17. 17

YOU are such a hypocrite!! and should be ashamed of yourself a$$hole. eat shit you disgrace

  18. 18

Re: lastonestanding – Thank you for saying that! It's sad she died but comparing her to people like Joplin, Hendrix and Cobain is insane. She's most famous for being a madly talented drug addicted, while those names are legends in music.

  19. 19

She looks out of it and not healthy at all.

  20. 20

Re: nyalan – I agree with you but no everyone who is obese or overweight eat, it could thyroid issues, genetics, side effects of a medication they can't take. So stop being ignorant and assume you know why everyone who is obese. And about drug addicts it's hard to quit drugs when they add addicting ingredients…. so yeah. Though I love Amy she is fine right now she'll go to heaven. But Norway right now IS more important.

  21. 21

why is everyone getting upset about the norway tragedy not being news? this is a celebrity gossip website. if you are coming to this site to get world news then you are in the wrong place. last time i checked cnn the norway attacks was the main story and amy's death wasn't getting near as much attention, and rightly so.

  22. 22

It's sad news about Amy, but all this talk of "incredible talent"? Excuse me, her first record sucked and the second was marginal. Her band always carried her, so let's not get crazy elevating her to sainthood. She was a regular drug addled artist, not a genius.

  23. 23

This gives me chills. I hope people choose to remember her for things like this than her addictions. She was a wonderful, talented person. MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

  24. 24

Re: TrannyTakesATumble2 – That is extremely offensive! Perez isn't my favorite person and I even stopped reading his page when he was just so mean, but then he really did a wonderful job of turning it around. I still get annoyed sometimes, but if you don't like it don't read it! We don't need anymore negativity in this world!

  25. 25

Also, HOW GREAT IS HER GODDAUGHTER!

  26. 26

If the kid makes it big Amy was her blood sacrifice to the Illuminati.

  27. JCPR says – reply to this

    27

This is sad. So sad RIP Amy you will be missed :(

  28. 28

seems unreal watching this knowing that a few days later she is dead.

  29. 29

Re: VickyJolie – Blame the politicians..someone is ready to go Postal each day!! its life…Loony world Loonieeeeeeeeeeee

    I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17

inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to

our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay

expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46

inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me

$52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get

    all this stuff, BidsGet.com

  31. 31

I cannot stand Perez and his complete hypocritical contradictions. When was the last time he had anything nice to say about Amy.

Say nice things about people when they are alive, rather than using them for fodder for your pedophilic website

  32. 32

Interesting,no one gave a shit about Amy when she was alive. No one spoke out on her behalf and no one tired to support her when she was drugged out. Allofasudden celebs are coming out of the woodwork and bloggers are posting RIP. I find the story tragic and pathetic all at once. The media loved Amy's train wreck life style and she hadn't put out anything decent for years. Now she is being praised for her musical style and inspiring a generation…I think Amy's story is tragic for those she left behind that truly wanted her to get better and those fans who actually supported her regardless of her breakdowns on stage and punching fits. She lived a good life considering she clearly fought to destroy herself. I can only hope that lessons have been learned and those who are suffering will find inspiration or strength to reach out to someone who cares enough to pull them out of the gutter
