Björk Re-Teams With Michel Gondry For Crystalline Music Video!

We LOVE it when these two collaborate!

Björk is getting ready to release her arguably most innovative album yet, Biophilia, and has once again enlisted the help of director Michel Gondry to oversee the music video for her latest single, Crystalline!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Yeah, pretty much just as out there as you'd expect!

Kind of an avant-garde, stop-motion interpretation of the iTunes music visualizer! Ha!

What do U think?? Are U looking forward to Biophilia??

    she's so weird………some strangeness I can understand but she's over the limit……..

  2. 2

Absolutely amazing!! Can't wait for the album!!!

now THIS looks like something GAGA would have come up with… maybe she is the original gaga? or gaga copied her? or maybe gaga copied her but never knew she did it in the first place? maybe they are cut from the same cloth… MAYBE Bjork will release her CD for $0.99 cents and finally have a hit? or would that be Bjork copying gaga? Who can keep it all straight??

Can't wait for the full album. :)

I am not excited at all. I loved Bjork's first 3 solo albums as I love everything that The Sugarcubes ever put out….but her last good album was Homogenic, everything after that makes me want to ralph. Her last album sucked donkey balls….I don't have high hopes for this one either….I don't even like the single.

I LOVE IT CANT WAIT FOR HER NEXT ALBUM!! PEOPLE NEED TO GET OVER THE NEGATIVITY….IF YOU DIDNT LIKE HER LAST ALBUMS THEN FUCK IT GO TO GAGA…..A LIVING GENIUS IS WHAT BJORK IS AND IF YOU CANT COMPREHEND THEN GTFO!!!

LOL A living genius hardly, you could have said that years ago…now her shtick has gotten tired and old. She isn't artistic at all. She tries to be artistic and werid, it is very fake and contrived. I used to love her, now I just see through her….don't get your panties in a wad okay she just isn't what she used to be. What was up with that mess of an album Volta (I could only listen to it once throuhg then gave it away). As far as Medulla couldn't even get thru it…it was uber annoying and Vespertine was pretty but really boring. Sorry Bjork just doesn't have it anymore….just because I don't like it doesn't mean you can't. I love it when people think that her shit can't stink too but then again you would most likely listen to an album where she just burb's, fart's, and queef's…while stomping her foot on the floor.

Yes that was badass, especially the end. Bjork is still way out there. Knows how to bring sounds that haven't been heard before. Love her!

Re: whatthe321 – yeah, dont you hate how hard core fans of anyone think that everything the person they worship comes out with is the most incridible thing ever created? i have been a huge bjork fan since the sugarcube days but i didnt enjoy her last 3 albums either. her last album i loved from beginning to end was vespertine. volta was a seriouse letdown and this new album may be the 1st bjork album i do not buy. such a shame because she was such a ground breaker at one time. now her stuff comes off as pretentiouse, as if shes trying too hard to be weird or edgy.

Re: whatthe321 – also, if you think hard core bjork fans are nutso, you should see how hard core prince fans are. they think his shit doesnt smell despite the fact that he hasnt come out with a great album from beginning to end since the late 80s. that was over 20 years ago. then there are the hard core stevie nicks fans. wow, where do i even begin with them. bottom line is, no matter how much a person likes someone, no one artist comes out with material that is always amazing.

Re: the Period – Yes some "hardcore" "fans" seem crazy.

I too loved Bjork….I thought Vespertine was pretty but that was the last album that um I could stand….I loved…Debut, Post, and Homogenic and all The Sugarcubes albums. Yes I know Prince fans are the same way. I could go back to the fact that they would love to hear him fart a tune and that is a true statment. I too think that this will be the first Bjork album I will not be buying. I will say this though the reason why I bought the last album was I loved the first single "Earth Intruders" so I bought it….which I just downloaded that one song because the rest was HORRIBLE and what was with the crappy male singer he sounded as if he was dying the album was painful. So yeah I have moved on from Bjork yes you are right "the Period" that she IS trying too hard to be weird and edgy so it doesn't work anymore it isn't honest. I say Bye Bye Bjork.

she was awesome as a sugarcube but not shes just a tries to hard

Re: whatthe321 – you sound like me. i bought volta because i liked earth intuders (the 1st single). heard the album and didnt like it entirely. strangely, i dont even like earth intruders that much anymore. now my favorite song from that album is called , vertabre to vertebre or something like that. but i hate putting an entire disc in my player just to hear one song. and yeah, i HATED the male singer (antony) and i didnt enjoy all that brass either. way too slow and dull for me. volta could cure insomnia. this new album sounds even worse from what way too self rightiouse for me. i have heard so far on you tube. way too self rightiouse for me.

    Re: rayrayrayray
You seem rather obsessed with GaGa, seeing that every comment from you is about her, even in posts totally unrelated to her. If you want to babble on and on about copycats, head to the Madonna posts. She's the Queen of (Copying All)Pop (Culture).
