Steven Spielberg And Gwyneth Paltrow Piss Off Italian Beach Bums!

Steven Spielberg Gwyneth Paltrow Italy Citation

Steven Spielberg was enjoying some fun in the sun off the coastline of Italy when some angry beach bums complained to the coastguard.

Apparently his boat was too loud and too close to shore for their leisure.

Not only that, but Gwyneth Paltrow was on board! Oh man! With a party girl like that, you just know something rambunctious is going on! Wink.

When the coastguard came to the scene, he cited the auteur 170 Euros.

Spielberg apologized immediately:

I'm sorry. I'm Steven Spielberg. I didn't know the rules. It's only right that I pay.

He offered to pay up then and there, but the coastguard explained he couldn't accept the money.

The next morning, their office received a fax confirming the fine had been paid.

170 Euros? 170 Euros?!? LOLz!

Yeah, we don't think Steven lost anything big there. ..except maybe a beach buzz.

Why are you "lolling" over 170 Euros? What's so funny about it?

Paltrow is the most disconnected silver spooner the world has ever seen. It's amazing.

?! Why are you calling these people "Italian beach bums?" Do you have any idea where they are? They are on the Italian Riviera - one of the most expensive places in the world - at the end of July, the most popular travel month (together with early August). Do you have any idea how much money it costs to either vacation or actually live there? It's a luxury, it's a phenomenally gorgeous place. The greenery, the rocks, that clear Med. water - it's a spectacular sight. Portofino is as goregous as it it, because of all the incredibly strict use - you cannot so much as repaint your house without permission and approval on the color. The beaches are TINY pockets - they aren't large expanses; parking is intentionally limited and astronomically expensive. The people there are NOT bums - to the contrary, they mostly look like people who have worked HARD all year and are taking some well-deserved R&R. It's not a party area, and it's hardly a traveling student pit-stop, being so costly. Now, have someone park their oversized floating mansion park right infront of your protected view, running their motor, polluting up the sea, and let me know how you like it. Good for SS for taking responsibility, though I hardly believe they didn't know what they were doing, as if there were no experienced Captain aboard.

GP may have been on the boat auditioning for a role as her look a like Ruth Bader Ginsberg.
