Three Gay Couples Married At Broadway Performance Of Hair!

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayBroadway BabiesInspiration

We actually started to tear up over this. What an momentous and magical moment for these three couples to share!!!

On Sunday, gay marriage in New York was officially a go and over 800 people finally got to cement their lives with the person they truly loved, no matter who they were.

Three couple in the audience of the musical Hair on Broadway were treated to something truly special as they were invited on-stage to have their weddings in front of the entire congregation. The ceremony was officiated by one of the cast members and at the end, every single person in the theater sang Let The Sun Shine! If that doesn't make you feel the love, nothing ever will!

Check out the video (above) to see the beautiful moment unfold!

We couldn't be more pleased! Congrats to you all! Live long and happily together!

You're teary over it because no one wants you.
    .
I certainly hope the folks involved with the Hair musical are going to do the same for heterosexual couples, or else there's discrimination at play, and if it's good enough for you to whine about it, it's just fine for heterosexuals to do the same. What is so funny is that if these couples getting married aren't resident in NY, their marriages are only symbolic because the other states won't recognize them, rendering the whole point moot. Spectacles like these don't do your pet cause any good, Perez.

    Big fucking deal.

I want to wait to have sex until I'm married.

This is getting absurd. Let me make it clear, I'm gay…and as usual, the gays who parade around with rainbow flags on the streets have to get married on a stage? WTF? This is completely ridiculous. I am a proud gay man, and I am embarrassed how disrespectful gay people are to the sanctity of marriage. To make such a "spectacle" of themselves is the EXACT reason people hate the gay lifestyle. BARF!

THANK YOU! The gay people that I know, (by the way Perez), say you give gays a bad name and they're ashamed of you.

Perez, you are stupid. No wonder that even the gays don't like you.

So much for "the show must go on…" Theres a time and place for everything - the middle of an exspensive musical is not the time or place.

What you cynics fail to understand is this was a celebration of equality. What's wrong with a little celebration? Would you have crapped on the slaves celebrating their freedom just because as La Garse would say in the comments "white people have been free forever and you don't see us bragging about it?"

It's a momentous occasion whether you understand that or not. Most of you in these comments either don't understand it or are so lonely your jealousy controls the nonsense coming out of your mouth.
