The pictures with Liam and Josh next to each other are horrible. Liam looks shrunken and freakish and Josh looks huge in comparison. If you want two guys of different heights to look the same, you can do so without making it look so bad.

Loved the books but this just looks wrong- Katniss in my mind always looked on the brink of starvation. She is by no means fat in this but doesn't quite have the desperately hungry look to her.

Katniss' leather jacket was her FATHER'S jacket. So the one in the picture here better not be it I doubt her father was a size 4. Other than that, I think it's looking better and better! Can't wait for the movie.

They just look way WAY too old! I can't remember Katniss' exact age, but wasn't she around 16 and gale a year or 2 older? I mean I'm not saying their acting will be bad but it will look so ridiculous!

Looks like I'm in the minority, but I think the casting is GREAT! I read the books before the casting was announced, and in my mind, I was seeing Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, and I was delighted when she was actually cast. If you saw "Winter's Bone," you know she can pull off a brilliant Katniss. In these pix, the hair colors strike me as a little weird, but I'm not prepared to pass judgment on a film based on still pix. If you see the movies without reading the books, though, you're cheating yourself. I expect great things from these films but no way can they touch the books.

When I read the books, I pictured Gale as Taylor Lautner and the characters seem older than portrayed in the book. Think the movies are going to be a disappointment.

I couldn't be any happier with the cast. Especially with Josh Hutcherson as Peeta. The author has even said that the most important person to cast in her mind was Peeta because of his compassion and overall ability to make anyone adore him (factors that can only be pulled off by mere acting) When it comes down to it, Josh is the perfect fit for that part, even if he isn't blonde and blue eyed. But even so, they did a damn good job on his makeover. His look totally fits my vision for Peeta.

The casting of Gale is absolutely terrible. And John Hurt, who played the high chancellor in V for Vendetta, would have made an awesome President Snow.

Everyone needs to stop the HATE! Ive read all the books and couldn't be more excited! As far as casting, wasn't too thrilled with all of it but I can't wait to see them bring the characters to life!

Not a huge fan of the Peeta casting. I hope he suprises me. I'm a fan of most of the other choices.

i think they got it right with josh hutcherson playing peeta and liam hemsworth playing gale… but jennifer lawrence playing katniss is all wrong. Katniss is supposed to be 16 and very skinny looking due to the amount of starvation. Jennifer lawrence looks like she's 20ish and is a muscular skinny.
