Bet they are super relieved.
Dr. Phil and his wife, Robin McGraw, can breathe a sigh of relief today as they've reached a settlement with their former interior decorator.
The whole mess started when their decorator, Deborah Flattery filed a lawsuit against Dr. Phil and Robin for $7 million for breach of contract, fraud, false advertising and intentional infliction of emotional distress. They weren't taking that, so they countersued for $665,000. Yeah, seems a bit off balance, but there's some legal mumbo-jumbo that explains it.
Anyway, point is that they settled in court, with the official docs stating "the above-entitled action has been settled and will be dismissed following the satisfactory completion of specified terms." We've got no deets on who got what in terms of the settlement, but we do know it was Robin McGraw's attorney who filed the motion advising the court of the agreement.
Case closed. Hopefully, the McGraw's aren't in millions of dollars of debt.
