DanRad's The Woman In Black Gets Delayed!

| Filed under: Film FlickersDaniel RadcliffeHarry PotterPerezTV

So, now we're gonna have to wait EVEN LONGER to see DanRad in theaters again????

Last week, Daniel Radcliffe spoke about his post-Harry Potter plans, and he announced that his upcoming thriller The Woman in Black (above) would hit U.S. theaters on January 20, 2012.

Unfortunately it seems that he spoke too soon, because CBS Films has announced a NEW release date for the film, which is February 3.

Come on, CBS! We need more DanRad in our lives to help us cope with the end of Harry Potter movies. Don't make us wait even longer!

Will U check out Daniel Radcliffe's new movie when it comes out next January February?

I hope this movie is good, although its release date has me concerned. Most movies that come out in January or February in theaters are duds. Doesn't look like the studio has much confidence in this, which is a shame because it looks like it has potential to be a good thriller.

I can't WAIT for this! I LOVE a good ghost story, and "The Woman In Black" is a good ghost story. If they did a good job with this, we should be in for a good spooking.

I saw the BBC production from the late 1980's and it really is a genuine spooky story. It is also genuinely slow which isn't what Americans look for in their horror films these days. If they remain true to the source (which was a book that the BBC version followed fairly faithfully) this is more of an art house movie than a multi-plex pack them in for a boffo weekend type of movie. I hope it is market accordingly or wlse it will be labeled Radcliffe's post Potter bomb!

Looks like it might be good, would probably see it if the trailers look at all good. Unfortunately ghost movies can be either really good or really bad.

@unintendedmuse i was supposed to be released this October, but due to dan's commitments to his broadway musical, and seeing that harry potter has to buy up those seats in order to free him up for a bit for promotional causes, they've decided to push back the date to jan and subsequently feb next year.
