Real Housewives Husband Russell Armstrong's Violent Past Revealed
Poor dear. Love can blind us sometimes, but we're glad she is taking steps to better herself away from this man.

Taylor Armstrong of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has alleged that Russell Armstrong, her estranged husband, has been physically abusive toward her. It's a pretty scathing accusation to make, but it seems that there is more than enough evidence to back it up, including some very violent activity in his past.
First of all, Taylor isn't the first woman to get a restraining order put in place against Russell. She's actually the THIRD! Two separate restraining orders have been filed against by him before - one by his ex-wife, and one by an ex-girlfriend. Adding insult to injury is the fact that Russell actually has a criminal record, since he was arrested for attacking his first wife, Barbara.
In 1997, Barbara called the police on Russell because according to her testimony in court documents:
"Russell threw me to the ground and slapped me across the face….the police were called to Russell's and my residence during our marriage because Russell hit me, blackened my eyes, kicked me in the back, threw crystal drinking glasses at me, and spit on me."
Upon his arrest, Russell pleaded guilt to battery and was ordered to attend anger management classes. However, things got worse even after their divorce as Barbara moved to Arizona and would send their son, Aiden, to see Russell every other weekend. One such weekend, she received a phone call from Russell's then girlfriend saying that Russ was hitting Aiden "hard" across the face. She later revealed that he also hit and attacked her on more than one occasion.
And you wonder why Taylor is running for the hills? Can't believe she married him to begin with! True, people can change, but it doesn't sound like he ever did. All the people in his life that he loved, he hurt … so did he really love them at all?
Sounds like you are better off, girl. His other women would certainly agree with us, we think!

Besides the way she threatens Kim all the time….I am sure Taylor can hold her own in a fist fight with her husband.

Doesn't seem like Russell's past bothered Taylor when they got married and had a kid.Then again all she was looking for was a sugar daddy full of money. I don't feel sorry for her and I find it quite odd how she's leaving him and all this trash is coming out now. Let's be honest here the MONEY is now gone and she wants out. That's the way it works and now she's trying to get publicity and have everyone feel sorry for her. Whatever….

Re: *Sloane – I ALWAYS run a background check before any serious involvement. I have done so for years. It's common sense, especially before you sleep with someone, decide to have a baby with them and marry them. Taylor is a money whore and playing the victim card. I agree with Hippo that Taylor can hold her own with another bully.
She married a man who has obvious contempt for her, and worse still had a child with him. No sympathy for her. She really should stop speaking at fundraisers for domestic violence organizations, she can't help anyone until she figures it out for herself!
They're both shady characters. She tried telling people she was a Ford, as in Ford motor company. She'll be looking for someone else to foot her bills. I wonder if Kennedy's "Godmother" Adrienne will help out?

I don't feel too sorry for her. She could have easily spoken out about these issues long ago, yet waited until right now to reveal the abuse in the relationship. Why is that? Because she didn't mind taking a beating if it meant she still had access to the bank account to fund her ridiculous cosmetic procedures, lunches, and shopping sprees. Pathetic and disgusting.
